This serum is powered by 1.5% salicylic acid, a beta hydroxy acid that works on both the skin’s surface to slough off dead skin and within pores to clear congestion. I have struggled with acne for basically my whole life. At 39, I am fed UP! I decided to invest in trying this, even though I feel like I have tried everything else out there, only to be disappointed time and again. I was honestly shocked that I loved this product so much. I have been using it for about a month. I haven't been using it long enough to be able to tell how my hormonal acne will respond to it, but I can say without a doubt that this has, at the very least, shortened the duration of my most recent breakouts. Don't get me wrong, it isn't a miracle in a bottle. And if you struggle with bad acne, you know that is because no such thing truly exists. Defeating horrible, hormonal acne takes time, patience, the right diet, and the right products. I'm just so happy this seems to be one I can work with to head in the right direction. Nothing else has come close to doing what this has so far. It does leave your skin a little dry, so I recommend using it with the ceramide barrier serum and/or the electrolyte water cream (both of which are about as close to a miracle in a bottle as you get in real life, btw).

burns like crazy and messed up my face for a week after one use. norm. love this brand so tried to just let it go but super unhappy camper. you might have a good experience like other people but if you have any doubts...trust yourself bc you know if skin can be weird or sensitive. luckily beef tallow fixed it and now my skin doesn't hurt so... reconsidering all my choices.
