Fun, creative and educational all in one amazing product!
My daughter loved this product so much, from reading the information in the coding book to actually creating her own keychains and creations. It didn't take her long to be completely consumed by the task at hand whilst continually using her creativity and imagination to create all sorts of new designs to hand out to family members and friends. A high quality product that I'd highly recommend!

Endless fun!!
I have 2 girls that love crafting, this was a big hit. Weve made plenty of things with these before but this puts a new edge on it. In the box are the beads and an instruction book. The book shows step by step how to make the individual pictures, you the iron them to stick them together and can then turn them into keyrings. The instructions are straight forward but still challenging enough for my 7 year old. When the beads run out (though there are loads!!) you can buy more and still use the templates and bead board so it will be a toy that lasts forever. My daughters have got this out again and again to make them.

Great introduction to reading code
Included in this kit 8 different coloured fuse beads, pegboard, tweezers, 15 key chain clips with 'O' rings, 15 oval hooks and 2 reusable iron sheets. I love that the materials come in a closable tray that stores in the bottom of the book. This set was very inviting even to a 14 year old. This set introduces kids to coding in a fun and inviting way teaching them about algorithm, sequencing, functions, binary, debugging. My younger 2 are 6 and were mostly interested in just following the code to make their key chain but they did listen to the interesting facts that I was telling them about as we set out the beads and pegboard. The pegboard has the row numbers on it which is great although I had to put a black piece of card under it just to make it easy for the girls to read. After explaining the simple instructions on the sequencing code to make their first charm which was the fox the girls were confident enough to do it alone with just a little help from me. This set not only teaches kids the importance of following the code to ensure the correct outcome is achieved it helps with counting and colour recognition. We started off getting the beads as we needed them but moved onto counting the amount of each colour needed for each row. I love that not only is the colour shown in the code but also the colours beginning letter with the exception of Black which is there as K as the letter Blue is also used within the book but my girls found it a little confusing at first but soon got used to it. With each row done we would get the next row colours ready with the girls counting and me getting them but I would stop after so many and say for example I needed 10 orange but had 6 how many more beads do I need to make 10 and the girls would figure it out to "help" me get the right amount. This set has very clear instructions from how to read the code, making your keychain and even gives you other ideas on how to use or display your charms.

Codetastic!
My nine year old daughter loves to be creative and I thought this set would keep her busy on rainy days over the summer holidays! She absolutely loves taking her time creating these lovely keyrings. The booklet inside is very informative and provides easy to understand information on the history of coding and very clear instructions to follow to make the charms. The charm ideas are varied and cute. Once she made a few she started to create her own ides too. The materials used are of good quality and the end result is robust and stands a fair bit of use. I would however advise adult help to iron and use a very low heat as the first one we did we ended up burning through the iron protector!
