Awesome product but stupid packaging: excessive, shiny see thru chunk of plastic cap, that requests multiple rotations to open or close. A tube envelope thing that inhales air as soon as you release it. All inside a cardboard box!

I’ve been using this toothpaste for about 30 days and while it leaves my mouth feeling clean and fresh, I haven’t noticed any real change in the whiteness of my teeth. It does a good job at everyday cleaning, but for whitening results it didn’t meet my expectations. Overall, I’d rate it 3 stars since it works fine as a regular toothpaste but not for what it claims.

I love this toothpaste so much! It does what it says, fights plaque It’s foaming goodness leaves my teeth feeling like I’ve just had a cleaning every single day. I love how the strong minty flavor leaves my mouth clean and fresh. My single complaint is the lid. I like to multitask and it’s hard to screw the lid on while brushing, I’d much rather have a flip top cap.

I’ve been using the Colgate Total Plaque Pro-Release Whitening Paste for a while now, and it seriously impressed me from the start! After my very first few uses, I remember brushing and feeling something hard in my mouth — I spit it out and realized it was old plaque that I didn’t even know was there! 😳 That moment blew my mind. Now that I’ve been using it regularly, I don’t get that anymore (which tells me it’s doing its job!), but I’ve never used a toothpaste that made such a noticeable difference. My mouth feels cleaner, and it gives me peace of mind knowing it’s working beyond just freshening breath. This stuff is the real deal!

If you want a toothpaste with proven plaque-fighting performance then I’d suggest this. It’s worth the money because it actually works! The taste is minty so it leaves a fresh feeling after each brush. For best results I’d suggest brushing each side, top and bottom, for at least 90 seconds.
Really helps keep tartar at bay!!!

I have ALWAYS had a lot of tartar. With Pro Release my last two check ups have been quick and easy with very little tartar. My hygienist mentioned how clean my teeth were before starting!! Ill never stop using it! Please keep making it!!!

By far this is the best toothpaste I have ever used! I love it and use it daily, this toothpaste cleans my mouth and it stays clean for days. I will only use this brand Colgate total plaque release whiting toothpaste. Other brands do not make my mouth feel and taste fresh, this is the only toothpaste that really cleans my mouth and keeps plaque away for days , not hours days !!! I use twice a day.

I see my dental hygeinist 3 times a year to stay ahead of plaque build-up. Generally, she tells me I'm doing a good job with my home routine. Occasionally she will advise how I might need to do better. A few months ago, I started using the new Total Plaque Control toothpaste, and at this visit she asked me what I was doing differently, because my teeth and gums were on noticeably better condition. I AM SOLD ON THIS TOOTHPASTE, the ONLY thing that changed in my routine. And I've let my hygeinist know so she can recomme d to others.

I am on my third tube of this toothpaste now and this is THE best toothpaste to keep your teeth clean. Ever since I’ve started using this toothpaste, my teeth have been so healthy. I’m one of those people with a semi-complicated oral hygiene routine and I even check the back of my teeth every single night. This toothpaste in combination with an electric toothbrush and good flossing habits will leave your teeth so clean!

As a Registered Dental Hygienist I wouldn’t recommend this toothpaste anyone. The flavor and texture is just fine and I’ve been using it for quite a while, but I keep feeling like I was having a ton of plaque on my teeth throughout the day and wasn’t sure why (I have great home care). I recently switched toothpastes and my teeth finally feel smooth and clean all day (with no other changes). Colgate Plaque Pro Release was my problem. Would never recommend to any of my patients.
