The pigments blend well and the colors are bright! But once on the skin, they're all a bit similar. And it needs at least one lighter shade. Overall, though, I really love it!

I think this palette is pretty good for the price, I love the packaging it's so vibrant and the included mirror is a great bonus! It includes some nice colors but some are a bit adventurous for me, but I would definitely like to try more palettes from them because I felt like the quality of the shadows were fairly good compared to others I've tried. For the price point, this is a good pallet. The packaging is cute and feels like a high end brand. As a neutral-toned gal, I appreciate the balance of warm and cool tones, as well as shimmers, pressed glitters, and mattes. This would be the pallet to toss in your bag for a festival- lots of options, with a (good, non-bendy) mirror included. The color payoff for the warm shimmer shades is rich. I love this palette! I needed a good summer eye shadow palette and liked the colors in the Escapism one. I thought for $10 it was worth a try. I was super surprised at just how much I enjoyed it. The colors layer beautifully and are surprisingly pigmented for such an affordable eye shadow. The shadows go on lightly but get very rich and bold as you continue applying the little bit you picked up with the brush. I appreciate a pigmented shadow, but it can get tricky if it goes on too strong with the first swipe of the brush. These shadows are all gorgeous and this is my official summer palette for sure. I was super excited to bring this eyeshadow palette home and try it. It is perfect for traveling as it is sleek and has a variety of colors, essentially 4 quads but they can easily be mixed and matched. When swatching the shadows however I was a bit disappointed as they were not as pigmented as I would have liked, however the colors are buildable. Best to apply the metallics/shimmer with a finger. I did notice that after swatching and wiping the colors off with makeup remover the red/burgundy tones did stain my skin a bit. I think this is a good "bang for your buck" palette. I think the colors and the pigment of the eye shadows are great. The application was great! The packaging is OK for after purchase although not the most durable. The things I love about color story escapism palette: 1. It contains 16 shades in one palette and with very very reasonable price. 16 shades for just 9.99. what a good deal! 2.It is very versatile to use this palette for every day looks. And the color is usable and adaptable to all skin tones. 3. You can use yellow/orange and brown color for daily makeup. If you want to go the night club, it would be amazing if you try Romance, Hidden Gems and Pleasures. The glowing eye shadow will attract everybody's eyes. You will be the queen for the party! 4. It has a build in mirror for you to do the makeup, pretty convenient! 5. Very easy to be colored on your eyes. You just need a little bit when you apply on your eyes. Be careful, don't use too much. 6. You can mix and match the color to have new colors! Super amazing! The things I dislike: 1. Some of the shades I may still cannot use very often, like hypnotic and imagination. All in all, it is a good palette to try if you want to try some bright eye shades and don't want to waste a lot of money because it may not be suitable for you. To buy this product, at least you will enjoy more than 50% of the shades it provides. Beautiful palette at even more beautiful price! Why not?
