Contigo Byron 2.0 Stainless Steel Travel Mug with SNAPSEAL Lid

I really like this tumblr because the size is just enough. Im working as an RN so im able to take my coffee after endorsement and its like I just made my coffee. I cannot go to work without this.

I love the Contigo cup. It is well insulated and easy to handle.

The color layer over the steel is peeling off.

Came with my Delonghi coffee maker and seemed like a nice addon. Terrible choice Delonghi. Plunger head that seals the opening fell off two weeks later and lost. Now the contain is no better than an open cup.

Leaks like no tomorrow. Only had it 5 1/2 months. Wore my coffee today

I have used my Contigo for few years. Tough coffee mug. Today when i was cleaning it, to remove coffee residue on the bottom of its lid and found out the rubber seal was tearing apart and came to realized-I was ingesting tiny bits of piece of this rubber which is carcinogenic. And my respect to this company fell 2 notches. The product could have gone as far as providing 1 or 2 more rubber seals as extra for wear and tear.

These cups used to be sold with the round, rubber stopper colored to match the outside of the cup. After using for a while, I started to notice little mold spores growing on this part. Now they all come with black stoppers and you can no longer see whether or not there is mold present. I've always taken apart and cleaned my cups frequently and it still happened everytime.

Got this as a gift, but they say it does keep their coffee pretty warm for a while. Seems small in size on the outside but is true to carrying capacity.

Well it promised leakproof and it wasn’t. Turns out the rubber is stretched out and was popping up. And reading all the reviews I’m not the only one. Bummer.

Keeps my coffee hot for hours even when it’s cold out or when packed in my cooled lunch bag. It even takes a beating from me dropping it several times on concrete!!!

I like the container but not the lid, it is really hard to open, I thought it would get easier with use but it does not, it seems to be more difficult the more you use it.

Good travel cup, especially like the size compared to the standard travel cups. The only thing that is a little different form me is the lid, which is good at keeping close but a little awkward to open. Other than that I really like thise cup.

I love the cup. The seal on it is great. I just wish it kept my coffee hot longer. If I could take this lid and put it on my contigo cup it would be a match made in heaven

My husband has 2 of these and uses them for his daily morning coffee commute to work. His coffee stays hot for few hours.

The cup did an okay job keeping my coffee hot for maybe two hours. The thing I hate most is I got a cup and the seal went bad on it within a few weeks of using it. When I pour coffee in it and tighten the lid the coffee bubbles and drips out the side. I don’t think I had it long enough for the parts to go bad already and it wasn’t cheap.

I've had this for a little over 3 and a half years now. Used it every Monday-Friday for all 156+ weeks. Never had an issue. Cleaning is slightly inconvenient but, the gaskets and seal is what help it stay leak resistant. I work in a fabrication shop and have hit this thing with a forklift, knocked off a table probably a hundred times, dropped steel and aluminum on top of it a hundred more. I ABUSE this thing. I throw it around and on top of products (laying sideways, WITH NO LEAKS) when I can't hold it in my hand. It goes with me all over the the company compound. I've melted the edge of it (the drinking side) with welding slag (lightly sanded the edge back smooth to make it usable). Spilt solvent paints and chemicals on it. Threw it in the dishwasher (I know I'm not supposed to but, things happen) and just this morning hit it with an angle grinder on accident. THIS THING WILL NOT GIVE UP!!! Highly recommend. I've left outside in the BITTER Colorado cold and was still sipping hot coffee throughout the day. Won't be buying another one anytime soon because it works just like it did on the first day. Definitely worth the money it costs. Recommend for all NON-OFFICE related work, where durability, convenience and reliability are important.

I’ve owned two other Contigo auto seal travel mugs in the past and they lasted for years, working perfectly, before I had them replaced because I damaged them. My wife bought me the Byron snap seal for Christmas and it worked well for two weeks before the snap seal failed. The rubber ball/gasket under the lid used to seal must have fallen off during the time I hand washed the product. My travel mug no longer keeps the drink hot/cold, but leaks as well from where you drink.

Very hard to open and don't keep drinks warm. May return.
