Could be so good, but needs some major flaws fixed
This is probably my 6th contigo mug - they work so well in the beginning! I’ve had a handle fall off 2 of them, and the vacuum seal stopped working on the other 3. I love the way it fits into my cup holder in the car, and when the vacuum seal works, my coffee stays hot for SO long. My last mug was an ello cork bottom and it didn’t hold as much liquid and now the top leaks when I drink out of it after owning it for just one month. I didn’t have time to do research on what travel mug would stay hot and not leak, so I ran to the store. Contigo was the only option that fit my size/handle/price requirements, so I’m giving it another try. It definitely holds up longer than one month!

Keeps coffee hot for most of the day, no trouble with leaking and handle is perfect size/shape (some mugs have awkward handles). I cannot speak for drinking from the spout because my hubby takes the lid off to drink as he does with any cup/mug.

Handle is good and keeps drink hot, but the top is terrible!
It fits in my car's drink holders(many cups are too big), the handle is good and it keeps things hot, but the top is bad in so many ways! You have to use both hands and do it as hard as you can to flip it open to drink, the hole is too small so you don't get much at once, the space with the hole is small and recessed so much that your nose bumps up against the rest of the top and it's fussy about screwing it on correctly. The only good thing about the top is that it doesn't leak. I'm going to see if I can find a different top for it.

Snapseal will not open without a tool
This is my second Snapseal Contigo mug. The first one worked perfectly so I bought a second. The problem with this one is that the snap seal when snapped in place does not open without a tool of some sort. Not handy when you're on the go! I wish I could buy another lid and see if it worked better, but I cannot find anywhere that sells the lids only. I am bummed!
