Have loved Simple Modern cups for 4+ years. Always keep my drink super cold. Put boiling water in it from a kettle for broth packet and it’s still hot 5-6 hours later when it’s time for lunch.

The paint started chipping on the top edge and the bottom was dented and scracthed within 1 week of light use. I've had another tumbler from another company that finally chipped after almost two years. A couple of quirks - it's not a full waterproof seal unless it stays upright. Also, the stopper hits your nose when you drink, so if any liquid splashes while it's closed, you'll get some liquid on the bridge of your nose. The first day I had it, I walked around town with a brown coffee spot for a few hours before I met up with a friend who told me.

I really like this travel mug! It checks all the boxes I have: Well-insulated walls and a well-insulated lid too. It's not like the thin, transparent lids that other mugs have. Easy to clean. There are no gaps or cavities in this mug that collect coffee residue and are difficult to clean. It has no springs, buttons, or other mechanisms — super clean and a simple design — exactly what I wanted from a travel mug.

I used to have a SM tumbler for four years and it was great but needed something smaller that I can carry around in a shoulder bag. This was it! No leaks, liquid stays cold or hot. The only thing I don't love is the folding part of the lid-- I have to give it a good push so it stays put or it'll hit my nose when I drink out of the bottle. Minor flaw that I'll just have to develop a habit for, so honestly it's worth it
