A: This is machine washable. I strive to wash on cold and dry on delicate or hang dry when I remember. Occasionally it goes through a hot wash cycle on accident but so far it's held up.

A: Yes, dry on lowest heat setting, or air dry setting no heat. We've had some for several years and so far they are holding up. If you dry it too hot the waterproof part can melt. I would get the next size up too so there's plenty of side fabric to tuck it tightly under a thick mattress. And to also fully cover past the edge of the mattress, and down the side some, with the quilted waterproof area, for getting out of bed, especially for incontinence use.

Q: the dimension says 78" for the king size. is that 78 plus enough to tuck in, or 78" total. my king size bed is approx. 76" and then I would need another approximately 32" or to tuck in both sides

These are very soft, comfortable, and breathable. The waterproofing is top notch, to the point where it will hold water coming out if the washer. Let it drip dry for a bit before machine drying it (in the warm weather we air dry it). It doesn't shift much or at all even if the flaps aren't tucked well, and the clear labeling over which side is up is handy. The only drawback is that it can't handle a hot wash/hot dry, but that's a small caveat compared to the otherwise great functionality. We have 2 of these that get rotated as needed. We actually put additional small pads on top of these to keep from having to wash them daily, but there have been many situations where these saved the day. Not having to strip the whole bed all the time is great.

I have used this pad for a couple weeks. The intended use is for on the bed and a person to sleep on top of it. I have an older cat who has problems at random times. I make my bed properly, then place the pad on top. The cat sleeps on it. I remove it at night for my sleeping. The pad has been washed several times and still looks like new. There are no stains on it. I hang it up rather than using the dryer. Totally worthwhile purchase saving me time from not washing all the bedding. The feel/touch is very comfortable.

It is SO much easier to remove this from the bed in the middle of the night after a toddler accident than stripping the whole thing! I dress the bed like this: zip-up waterproof cover over mattress, fitted mattress cover, fitted sheet, then Coop Home Goods Incontinence Pad. Helpful note for other parents: due to the direction of boy's pee, I place the pad in the 'upper half' of the bed, closest to the pillow. Also, I keep a second pillow on-hand in the likelihood of pillow soaking. :P

works if you're able to identify a spill or accident quickly. However, if a liquid substance is left over night, like a potty training accident, it will leak through onto your sheets. it's an excellent size though.

I can't really tell you how well the product works because it keeps moving. No matter how well I tuck the sides in it moves and my little just happens to have an accident where ever this product is not.
