Description
The Sacroiliac Spinal Support eases pain by providing compression and support to the pelvic region, comfortably stabilizing the hips and SI joint. Ideal for use when SI joint dysfunction is a result of ligament injury due to repetitive activities causing muscle fatigue in the lower back. During pregnancy, hormones cause ligaments to become slack and stretch in order to allow the pelvis to spread for delivery. Use this support postpartum to gently compress the sacroiliac joint and hips together in order to assist the ligaments in shortening and realigning the pelvis to its pre-pregnancy position.
Durable, plush, 4 inch high hook and loop material provides maximum support to the sacral region of the back. Soft elastic CorEdge finish on top and bottom edges offers added comfort and flexibility. The anatomical form contours to the natural curves of the hips for comfort. Low-profile, flexible design, moves with you during normal daily activities. This product contains no latex.

I’m really pleased with the belt. It was as comfortable as a trochanter belt could be. It definitely helped me to stabilize my pelvis, so I could begin to strengthen my ligaments. Only one drawback, and it’s likely unavoidable. As a dog groomer, I’m always bending at my hips, and this meant constant readjustment. Other than that, it definitely did the job, at a reasonable price! Delivery time wasn’t ideal, took more than three days. The cost of expedited delivery was more than double the standard shipping.

For the last 3 years, I have had trouble with my Hip-Groin area, nothing showed up on MRI, Doctors can not figure it out, so I watched a YouTube video of a Chiropractor talking about stabilizing the hip area. And this belt does make that area feel better. I notice when I don't use if for a few days my symptoms come back. I purchased a large because I was unsure about my hips size since I am about a size 13. It is very long and wraps around with plenty to extend. I am not sure a small /medium would have worked- I did not see anywhere of a chart of hip width, The only thing is when you reach back to grab the extra support strap to bring it forward to the front, it does require some arm strength. When my husband pulls the side straps for me it is defiantly tight. It seams to be durable and manufactured well.
Very sturdy. Velcro is very durable.

It was recommended to me to wear one of these by my my chiropractor. I paid more than twice the amount at her office than Core Products charges. This really helps me feel more stable, especially on busy days where I am on my feet a lot. My core weakness causes pain in my neck, so says the doctor. I’m so glad I have this, and I have purchased a couple more since my first one. I highly recommend this!

I have using the trochanter support for a couple of hours a day as I saw it on a video blog by Chiropractor John Bergman. I could feel the difference when I used it. I seemed to be using different muscles and it felt a lot better. My pelvis feels more stable now.
