Not what I expected
The cloth doesn't erase the writing you have to use the tip on the pen. I was under the impression you could erase it with the cloth. It's very lightweight and convenient.

The product itself is amazing, it’s the third I’ve ever bought (it was a gift) but it came used (had some scribbles) and it’s missing the pen. I was supposed to be buying a new product. I can’t believe this.

Useless item! I thought it was a notebook that would scan your writing and turn it into typed files. Nope it literally takes a pdf scan of your note. I’m going to make it very clear that you can do this for free with many many apps. This includes the Google Drive app which has a better scan function than the Rocketbook app. So explain to me what the point of this product is. The only “unique” aspect is that you can erase your writing. However, writing on this thing was horrible. It’s waxy and not satisfying; it will not fill your craving to write on paper.

Ordered for pickup. Notebook wasn't in its package, just loose in a target bag. Missing pens, eraser and all instructions. Easier to just order on Amazon.

Scam product
There’s nothing smart about this outside of the reusableness. Just take a picture of your notes with your phone. No app or data farming needed. This is a scam.

Quality notebook, disappointing features
Enjoyable to write on, frustrating to scan. The scans don’t come out well, have random phantom marks and don’t always scan documents into one single file. App is very limited. Gone back to what I was using before for photo scans.

This is for my my fellow broke college students if it’s too expensive or no one will get it for you I have a DIY bootleg version. With the same frixion pens if you write on regular paper just take a picture than apply something warm onto the paper and the ink will disappear.

Lines on paper are not dark enough.
I really like the way that it writes and I love the concept! but, for me the lines on the paper are too light in color and hard to see even while I am wearing my reading glasses. It seems like I have to focus so much on where the lines are that it takes away from what I’m trying to write and learn at the same time and it’s giving me a headache.

Writing on the surface is very difficult. Frixion pens are not consistent and once you erase, it’s hard to write over that spot again.

Needs improvements
It’s a nice idea. It could definitely use improvements. You cannot just wipe the writing with the microfiber, it requires water. Even still, you can see a shadow of what you’ve written. I wouldn’t say it’s worth the money.
