Flimsy
Brought this to hold extra household supplies but it did not perform well at all. This is a very flimsy made product. Don't waste your money. Once it is put together it also leans. Was too disgusted to return and just threw it away.

Doesn’t look like the picture. Mostly functional but the plastic is not exceptionally strong — higher shelves clearly start bending inward when you put weight on it over about 15 lbs. Biggest complaint is how cheap it looks.

These shelves do work as shelves. However, the plastic finish was horrible. They smelled absolutely terrible out of the box, as if they just came off the burning hot plastic mould. I had to wash each piece in the shower, and they still smelled a bit afterward. I also had to break off tons of tabs, left over from poor moulding, that stuck out from each leg before it could even be assembled. There were also several rough, and sometimes sharp, burrs on the top of the shelves that I needed to dremel down till they were smooth. They bow in the middle with any sort of real weight on them, however, after all that work, they do function adequately for what I need: additional closet shelving space. Perhaps I could have gone with a different option, but this was the shelf that perfectly fit the dimensions I needed with solid plastic, not grated metal, shelves.

Great for relatively light items
It goes together super easily, and at this price, I can afford to buy multiple. I wouldn't chance putting really heavy items on it, but for light to medium weight items, it totally works. It also has brackets for attaching it to the wall, so you have options.

This is definitely one of those you get what you pay for shelves. I had a narrow closet and needed a narrow shelf. It's super easy to put together in a few minutes and I had no issues there. Seems sturdy for maybe 30-40 lbs per shelf. But the plastic REEKS. It's like no smell I've ever smelled. It's like old burnt wood/logs. Ashy burning stench. I might have to return it, but I'm going to wipe them down with a smelly cleaner to see if this helps. Or I'll have to hang an air freshener in the closet.

Flimsy structure on the 15 inch
The 15 inch deep model is flimsy I would discourage anyone from buy it plus I was short a top cap and leg. The 18 inch deep model is great and appears to be able to hold some weight. Assembly was easy !!!!!

I bought it because it is a right size for me. Overall: not a heavy duty for any stretch of imagination. I think it should be OK for light storage. Pros: shipping was fast, assembly was easy, and it fits the space I have for it. Cons: the plastic smell is absolutely horrible. I assembled it and for now I put it on the back patio to air out. If it doesn't lose it smell I'd have to return it.

Easy to put together.
No tools needed, everything clips together. It's an easy to use shelf but it's tall and not expensive so it's not very sturdy.
