While it is light in weight, it is not a lite weight. Made of very sturdy plastic, (ABS?) It is easy to assemble, and looks good where ever you place it. I'm using it in my sunroom as a winter plant shelf for my geraniums that just came in from the freeze. It will no doubt have many varied uses over the years, I expect that it will hold up well through the years.

These shelves help me keep things in order so i can see what we have. They are decently sturdy but i wouldnt put too many heavy items on it. Thats just my fear speaking. It’s more sturdy than it appears and it was very easy to assemble. It took me less that 10 mins from beginning to end to fully assemble it. I was able to assemble by myself.
