Thing works great has good capacity.
I use this as a spare freezer that i can easily move out of the way, was going to buy a deep freezer but a friend of mine has one of these coolers and when i seen it i figured it would suit my needs perfectly and it has.

We estimate that we'll pay for the cooler in about a year with the money we save on buying ice. The cooler was recommended to me by a fellow-RV'er who had researched for some time and came to the conclusion that the Costway cooler was the way to go for reliability in the compressor and overall construction. We weren't disappointed in our purchase. Being able to adjust the temperature, even to a below zero setting, is fantastic. And to have a cover that opens to the front or to the back, or that you can simply lift off totally, is quite a pleasant surprise. It's a heavy cooler and it would be best to load it up AFTER carrying it to your car. Remember: it's a fridge with a compressor. It's going to be a little heavier than a simple insulated box. The power drain on my "house batteries" is negligible. I ran the cooler for 24 hours and tested the battery voltage before and after. The before voltage was 12.3 volts and the after voltage was 12.2 volts. The cooler doesn't run continuously but only when the temperature needs it. Having a readout of the temp on the outside of the cooler is a blessing.

Sucking Energy?
It's holding temperature well enough, but I have it on a 100ah lithium battery with 200watts of solar panels and my battery has not yet been full in 4 days. That's not right. It's been mid-80s in the end of June. We'll see how this goes, but I'm doubtful right now

Exceptionally quiet
Great little fridge/freezer for travelling. This will be handy for our trips back and forth to Arizona. Delivery was very fast, arrived 4 days earlier than expected. I would recommend this fridge/free,er to anyone. We would be looking at purchasing a second d unit.

Perfect so far!
Works as promised. Much quieter than hoped for, almost silent. Easy set up out of the box. Turned it in, set to Fahrenheit. Temp was 70 when turned on, set it to 28 degrees, took 30 to 40 minutes to achieve the 28 degrees desired. Unit looks great, open either side lid works perfectly. No complaints here yet! Sure it's a bit pricey, but it's a well engineered device and the 58quart unit has a spacious storage area, all I will ever need. It's worth every penny.

Great cooler, great price!
We looked at similar coolers that were much more expensive and not quite the right size. Used this on a ten day trip through Yellowstone! Kept everything perfect temperature. Nice to have a variety of food while camping. Easy to open, close and quiet . It's heavy that's a plus and minus. Easy to clean.

A must for road tripping
This thing is great. Never want to go back to ice. Plug it in by the frog, fill, plug into the back of the van and away you go. Grab an external jackery type battery for when you stop the car. Trekked all over the country and this thing is a rock. More affordable than the name brands too.

Thing works as advertised! Cools down fast! Very solid and pretty quiet! Left it turned off in 90 degree weather and stayed cool for about 8 hours and items stayed frozen!

A very cool unit for cooling your food
The unit comes packed very well and the quality seems to be very good and stands up well against more expensive units. It is relatively quite during operation and went from 80 degrees in the compartment to 32 degrees in less than 10 minutes. I also like that the lid can be opened from both ends! It took some time to get through the manual which is in Chi-English. Overall, a fantastic fridge for the price

Great fridge for Price
A very nice fridge that works off of both DC and AC. I have it hooked up to DC in a camper van most of the time. It does not have a dual climate, so it can only be set to one temperature at a time. That being said the small upper compartment does stay warmer than the main part of the fridge, so I keep the temp around 28F and keep the things I want to be frozen towards the bottom and things that I don't want to be frozen in the small upper space. The temperature does fluctuate up and down about four degrees from the setting. I've had it for four months now and it stands up to some crazy bumpy/rough roads with no problem. A great alternative to the more costly competitors.

Solid build, Freezes and Cools quickly
I'm going to update this review once I've had the fridge for a longer time, but so far, I'm happy with the quality and features it offers. It's been whisper quiet and performs really well, freezing 3 ice trays from liquid to solid in 2.5 hours.
