Seems like a nice air conditioner for a little girls room. It worked as expected. Installation took less than an hour. Overall I think it's nice. It seems fairly easy to use. Make sure you thoroughly read the instructions. It seems like a simple to use unit and has easy to access controls. Overall, I think it's nice and it met my expectations.

So i was hesitant to buy this but after using it i was happy i did. I need an ac unit just for one room instead of using my central system which was used for my entire house. With summer coming up i need it to put in my garage so the kids can play. Was easy to install. Doesn't take along time to cool down the room. Value for money if you ask me. Does not make any loud sound.

I also added an external vent screen and glued that in place to keep birds out. I am VERY pleased with this unit It cools a 12 x 15 room very efficiently in our hot desert climate.

Sure, it\'ll cool down your room(s), any unit will do that. I\'m a night shifter and need it running while I sleep during the hottest parts of the day. My first year having this unit I\'ll turn this on when I get home, it\'ll cool the room, I\'ll hop in bed and the unit will shut off. Not the power, and it\'s not full of water. The AC and fan will just stop while my room is getting warmer and warmer. I start sweating in bed so I get up and have to turn the unit off and back on again to get it to start running. I never set the timer on it either. If I set it for 1 degree lower to insure it doesn\'t shut off on me, I\'m freezing when I wake up. This year, an hour after starting it, it shut off b/c it was full. So I let it drain when I ran it. Not getting any random lapses in operation either. Found it was draining a lot and it flooded my floor. My fault really. Our breakers were tripping so I had to move the unit slightly which meant the hose to the window was in a slightly different position and (without my knowledge) the unit started dripping from it\'s base, soaking my floor again. I reset it and now it doesn\'t seem to be dripping. 10 years ago I bought a similar unit for 450, it\'s never leaked (no matter how the hose was set), never had to be drained and never randomly stopped running for minutes at a time allowing the room to heat up. I don\'t care about a remote. I don\'t care about energy efficiency really if it costs user friendliness, lack of options and poor running operation. Oh, and floor damages. I do like the window wall design and the fan is powerful.
