Q: Does this unit allow you to have the AC mode on even if the temperature drops below the temperature you set? Or does it only turn on when the room is below that temperature?

  • A: If the set temperature is 61℉, after adjusting the indoor temperature to 61℉, the compressor will not stop but will run slowly. When the indoor temperature rises, the compressor will speed up and adjust the temperature.

Doesn't last!!!!

Doesn't last. We got these in June 2025 and used all summer. Now that it is warm again we got them hooked back up and cleaned before turning on. After running it the a/c does not work just the fan. We bought 2 of these and both are doing the same thing. Not worth $220.00 for each and only getting 1 year out them!

Doesn't provide 9000 btu of cooling

This thing will run for hours and maybe I get a 3 degree drop in temp from 81F to 78F, and this is after making sure to weather strip the window, and wrap the spots where the exhaust tube connects to the AC and exhaust adapter for the window to make sure no warm air from the exhaust leaks back into the room. (The unit also came with no weathererizing materials to prevent air leaks from the exhast system either.) 0/10

Works for area about 200 square feet.

Got it for my small apartment for an additional help to lower temperature for the kitchen area. Does the job well. Easy to operate.
