Cottonwood Plaid Wool/Cotton Area Rug - Threshold™ designed with Studio McGee

I love this rug, however, it’s sheds worse then my dogs. It easily snags. Sadly, it won’t last long at all. Super disappointed in it because it’s so cute.

Really wanted to love this rug but, I should have listened to the reviews. Quality is poor. I’ve owned it for a couple of weeks and it has multiple pulls 😢 photo happened on the 2nd day of owning it.

This is the perfect neutral rug. It can fit in any room. It doesn’t shed. It hide dirt. I love it

I liked the design of this rug, I have another color of it at my front door. It did come with some pulls already. I noticed that on other ones at the store too. So, I probably wouldn't use it in this color in a high traffic areas because im sure it would be torn up. It's soft-ish. For the price, impressed with the quality & thickness.

Do not buy if you have cats. This is a warning, my cat has messed with it since I got it. But if you don’t it is beautiful. Sheds a lot and I don’t think it will last more than a year

This rug is beautiful and thick and soft but its already coming apart and I have had it out for a month.

I’m obsessed with the LOOK of this rugs. It’s everything I was looking for. As for quality… it’s a hard no. This is actually my second one due to my puppy destroying the first. I’ve had it for like 6 months now. It very easily stretches out and get really wonky looking. It shreds like crazy and rips and comes apart. Mine is the 5x7 and $100 it not a terrible price and It does the job until I can find something similar but with better quality.

This needs to be in a home that never creates a mess. Impossible to clean and smells horrible if it gets wet.

Awful. It’s like putting a blanket on your floor. I was constantly fixing it. So awful!

I purchased this rug for our dining space in our "big" room. We also have vaulted ceilings, so we always run the risk that our pieces getting lost in this big, tall space. I wanted to create a dining space that was cozy and inviting, that still tied in with our kitchen and the living space,in our big open plan area, yet had its own style. Fast forward many rugs and disappointing combinations, I found this beauty. As soon as I unrolled it, I knew this was the one for us. Its timeless plaid style and warm, cozy brown really anchors the space and just works with our moody blue-grey built-in and buffet table. As a bonus, it is thick, soft, and comfortable underfoot. As an extra extra bonus, I love that it uses natural fibers. Some of the fibers did unravel (I think some reviews touched on this), but I didn't find it difficult to push the fibers back into place. The only negative that I can think of is that if you're allergic to wool, this may not be the rug for you.

So cute in my baby’s nursery, but I see that it will “shed” or “peel” easily. I don’t regret my purchase though because I love the rug.

Very cozy, perfect for kids rooms.

Neutral color is much more grey than the tan of the picture. Sheds EVERYWHERE and you get lots of pilling/pulls if you try to vacuum it. Liked the look but replacing after 18 months because I can’t stand the shedding and it looks really worn

It is a beautiful rug and so soft, but it arrived with multiple frays and streaks of color on it. Not the quality I expect from a Studio McGee item. The item was clearly damaged prior to shipping. So disappointed

I have purchased three rugs from target brands within the last two months and this is by far my favorite (the others are great too). It feels the thickest and highest quality. My only note is that the accent lines look darker and greyer in person than in the online photo. I was expecting a more light brown.

This is a Soft and beautiful rug. However, it does snag easily. I have it in a room that has low foot traffic, and it still has snags.

The carpet comes apart easily and we were constantly vacuuming the living room from all the fluff that falls off. It had a bad smell when we received it and it was brand new- not a return. The smell went away after several weeks from us spraying air freshener on it.

it sheds a lot and i was going to return it but after about a week it stopped so it seems to have been a new rug thing and no longer an issue. some of the weaving has started to become undone in a few spots though (see pics) so not sure how long this rug will hold up :( overall, i like the design and warmth it brings to our space!
