A: I’ve tried the TruBlend and it dries like chalk. That is why I wanted to try the skim milk, but needed a shade equivalent to Buff Beige.

I’ve been using this stuff for 5+ years. I have dry, relatively unproblematic but slightly textured skin and nothing beats it. It’s lightweight, feels like I’m wearing nothing, and gives me a perfect finish (slightly glowy but not TOO dewy). It lasts all day. I really love that it’s buildable as well. It makes it perfect for a casual look, or I can build it up for more coverage if I want. It blends really well with my hands. I’ve tried “upgrading” to name brands at Sephora or ulta, but no skin tint beats this one. I always go back to it!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Covergirl Nourishing Skin Tint is the first real skin tint that I’ve tried, and while it was different than what I expected, I still liked it! I’ll start by noting that I selected the light-medium shade as that is my usual shade when I’m not naturally tanner in the summertime. This shade is too light for me, and I’d definitely categorize it as light rather than a true light-medium. I only ever wear foundations if I’m going to a fancy event, otherwise I’m a tinted sunscreen kind of girl. I expected this skin tint to be the same minimal coverage as a tinted sunscreen or moisturizer, but was surprised to see it had decent coverage. This isn’t my preferred daily makeup look so I was disappointed as I was hoping for something much more wearable on a daily basis for me, but I can see myself loving this during the summertime when I need more coverage but don’t want anything too heavy (if only I had the correct shade, as this will be way too light for me when I’m naturally tanner!) All that aside, I enjoyed the healthy glow this provided my skin - not too shiny or glowy, but a lit from within finish. It felt weightless upon application and blended in smoothly and easily while evening out my skin. If you’re looking for a complexion product that has light buildable coverage, look no further!

I’ve tried different times of letting everything dry and it just doesn’t go good with a skin care routine. Alone it works great. It’s a buildable coverage.

I find the finish to be nice and luminous without becoming too greasy looking on my skin. The packaging is simple and easy to open with the screw top lid. Because the container is quite full, it leaked out without squeezing if stored on the lid, so I store it upside down. There is no noticeable scent in my experience. The shade Medium/Tan is a great warm toned medium that isn’t orange and works well on my warm olive undertone. I love how this feels lightweight on the skin while still providing light coverage. It doesn’t cover up my acne marks, but I am not expecting that, and I find it evens out my skin nicely. When powdered down lightly, this skin tint will last me all day and it wears away quite nicely. I did not notice my skin feeling irritated or breaking out from this skin tint which was a relief considering the coconut ingredients. Overall, this is a great lightweight, luminous skin tint that evens out the skin tone very well without feeling heavy.
