I have tried countless of blurring lipsticks and most of the time they are far to drying, yet this one is super hydrating and I never have to worry about reapplying a balm. The shade that works for my olive complexion is “Honey Blur.” It is exactly as it is described, a deep plum. I always had a hard time finding the perfect blurring lip shade. Either it’s too brown or the red shades are too pink and/or orange toned. I have a two toned lip and this shade just works great for me. I honestly believe I have found my forever lipstick.

It claims to be moisturizing, but I felt like it was quite the opposite. It’s drying and emphasizes any lines on lips. It is definitely matte! The color also applies very patchy.

The texture of it is really smooth and it glides on like butter. It has a very light sweet fruity smell, which is one of my absolute favorite scents. While the packaging mentioned a scent and taste, I personally didn’t notice much of either. I'm not a fan of the blur effect and think it just comes out blotchy. The pigment is popping and was too pink for me. Better to use than add a clear gloss and blend out
