It definitely put color on it but it literally felt like I was putting marker on my lips. It would go on wet but dry your lips up really bad. It wouldn’t get darker if you added more so it was light.

Another use for Outlast Lipstsin

I love this product for my lips, but I've found an additional use that works great for me. I have a real problem with nail polish due to oily nail beds. It just peels off after a day. One day I decided to experiment...I cleaned and buffed my nails, then used an Outlast Lipststain to color them and used a clear top coat. They look BEAUTIFUL and the color has stayed bright for a week now. I can finally enjoy color on my hands again... and match my nails to my lips!

Dryer than the Sahara

As a broke highschool student, I try to settle for things that are relatively cheap, but at least somewhat well reviewed. But - thank god that it was the cost it was - those 4-5 star reviews are LIES. When I got this product, I opened the package and tried it on, and was instantly faced with the dryest applicator ever. I could barely extract any kind of color from the marker, and when I did, it was not very accurate to the advertised depiction. In some of the lower ratings of this product, many talk about the color showing in more of a dark berry shade, that I will also agree with. However, I will say that in contrast to those same reviews, it did actually last longer than I'd anticipated, which was surprising in regards to the overall product that I had received. Maybe I just got a bad marker? Who knows. Either way, I think I'll just stick to pencil liners from now on.

Long lasting contour for lips

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm wearing my CoverGirl Outlast Lip stain in color 10 Duvet Girl, and I agree with all the viral buzzing that this is a great product to use for contouring the lips (or directly as a lip color), because the formula is buildable, doesn't dry your lips, and it lasts for hours. It's lightweight, non-sticky, and infused with Acacia tree extract. Vegan, clean, and formulated without Parabens, Sulfates Phthalates or Mineral Oil. Plus, the price is very affordable. Super!
