A: I tried it. It affects the matte lipstick. The glaze comes on like a waxy lip balm and you have to put on a couple of layers.

Very pretty and feels great
got the color Expresso Kiss, at first I thought it was too dark for what I was going for but it's actually a great mid-tone brown with slight red undertones. Feels moisturizing, not sticky, and as you can see from the pictures it have a really nice soft shine. I notice it does grab a little bit if you have dead skin so make sure to exfoliate beforehand.

Kinda sucks
I bought the clear one and it’s not nearly as glossy as the picture. It does an ok job hydrating your lips, but it’s just a slightly nicer chapstick. With and thick and pasty texture. It could be worse but it gets the job done.

Maybelline Lifter Glaze Oil Balm
I usually LOVE Maybelline makeup products, so I was surprisingly disappointed when I tried this Lifter Glaze Oil Balm. The packaging and blush pink tint was fine. However, the product smelled like floral Play-Doh or plastic and tasted unpleasant. While first applying the product, a chunk immediately broke off the stick. It also left my lips feeling sticky and dry. Definitely not “oiled” or “glazed.” I don’t quite understand why it’s called “lifted” either because there’s zero plumping element. I wish I could rate this higher but I’ll have to return it unfortunately.

This lip glaze gives the lips a pretty and shiny appearance with light color. The feel is gummy and the smell/taste of the product is heavy and unpleasant. In fact, I won't be able to wear this lip glaze because of the smell and taste.
