Applicator wand issue
The applicator wand pictured on Maybelline's website is not the wand that came in the tube. What is shown is the usual wire coil / comb type wand with bristles. The wand in the tube is a flexible silicone-like material with odd "bristles" that are spaced widely apart. This wand doesn't allow for separation of lashes nor even coverage. Too much mascara ends up on this odd wand. I did like the color though (brownish black).

Good product / bad color
The texture is great and makes the lashes look amazing. However, copper brown is more like dark brown/almost black. This color does not work for true redheads.

Wand sucks
I used the regular bubble mascara and decided to try the waterproof. It’s absolute trash compared the first one. And did yall change the wand?? It makes my eyelashes so chunky and makes them look stubby when they are a pretty decent length.

I loved it the first time I bought it. Ran out purchased a second tube and it’s super thick you can’t even see the bristles on the brush. I have to waste most of it by scraping it off. I bought this when the regular colossal, my fav, was out of stock. the formula seems exactly the same but the brush is spirally and doesn't work as well as the regular colossal brush. lashes look longer and more spindly versus the thickening effect of regular colossal. a decent substitute. I like that it comes in brownish back

Was so excited to finally try this out, as I usually love all maybelliene products. I was expecting so much more from this. It’s not buildable its formula is entirely too wet and comes out in huge clumps. Makes my lashes look like short, stubby spider lashes. And I have naturally long lashes , very disappointed and dissatisfied with this mascara:(
