I don’t feel it adds as much length as I typically like and the waterproof mascara seems to have a negative effect on my last quality over time. It does seem to clump a bit as well. The tube is drying out too quickly for my taste.

Maybelline mascara was always my go-to drug store mascara, so I was pretty excited to receive and test this one. It provided the volume and length I need. After testing a few days, finally it was raining season. Although it says waterproof, it still smudged a little bit. But since I haven’t really found one that doesn’t smudge at all, I’m pretty satisfied with this one.

It definitely amps up the lashes and makes them pop. All I need is one layer. And it’s waterproof but can be removed easily with makeup remover

I did notice that with too many coats, it will start to clump, so I do no more than 2 coats, and it stays perfect. This is the most lengthened my lashes have ever looked. I highly recommend

I didn’t think they did much for volume boosting, but I like that it doesn’t clump and generally applies evenly.

The brush is perfect and makes my lashes look long, separated, and naturally dense. It doesn’t flake at all. I never liked waterproof mascara before because it was always too hard to remove; this one comes off easy enough so that I’m not damaging my lashes to try to get it off. I also have sensitive eyes, and this doesn’t make them irritated or itchy.

I can build layers and it doesn't have a heavy effect. It doesn't crack and lasts all day. It doesn't stain like some others I've used, because sometimes I tear up. This one is really waterproof. It gives my lashes a perfect curl. I'm really loving using it in my daily life.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have mixed emotions when it comes to this mascara. I tried it over and over and truly wanted to love it but I just don’t. The mascara isn’t terrible, but it’s not great either. The brush design makes it kind of hard to apply. I do get some length and a bit of volume but almost no curl; it’s as if it weighs my lashes down. The fact that it’s waterproof also makes it almost impossible to take off. Oh and it does flake off.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Maybelline New York Falsies Surreal Waterproof mascara free from Influenster for my honest thoughts and opinions. I have been using Maybelline products since as long as I can remember. My mom introduced me at a very young age (sneaking into her makeup bag and putting on makeup in the bathroom) and Maybelline was her brand of choice. Majority of the products are good for the price and availability. I love the original Falsies mascara so I was super excited to try the Surreal but unfortunately it is not as good. Pros - it is a dry formula which I prefer. The mascara went on nicely and was easy to build. The wand is a good size and has the nice tight bristles. Cons - the component/container is really big and hard to maneuver. I do have slightly small hands so I found it quite difficult to apply. The formula is supposed to be waterproof but I’ve worn it out and about (unfortunately in the Florida heat) and it just did not hold up well, by the end of the day I had mascara running under my eyes. Due to that it may be a good fall/winter mascara or for someone who is not in an area that has 90 degree days with 90% humidity. I can deal with the component being on the bigger size but the waterproof formula not being exactly waterproof/long lasting is a little disappointing. It did make my eyelashes look nice it separated them and gave volume. I just have other mascaras I would reach for.

The waterproof formula actually holds up with no smudging or flaking, even after a long day. It keeps my lashes lifted and defined without feeling stiff. The wand makes it easy to coat every lash and it builds really well. Super impressed for the price and definitely something I keep in my routine.

It give the vibe that your lashes are false. It does dry a little hard which I did not like but overall if you want your lashes to pop this is worth the try!
