Description
This Cracked Peppercorn Crusted Beef Sirloin Petite Steak from Good & Gather™ is perfect for date nights or treating yourself to a restaurant-quality meal. This petite sirloin steak is coated with a cracked peppercorn seasoning mix that elevates the flavor of the meat. Ready in just 32 minutes, it's sure to delight any meat lover. Directions:Keep refrigerated. Needs to be fully cooked. Remove from package before cooking. OVEN: 1. Heat oven to 425°F. Line rimmed baking sheet with foil and spray with cooking spray. 2. Arrange steaks on pan. Bake 28 minutes. Leaving steaks in oven, adjust oven to Broil. Broil 3-4 minutes or until steaks reach medium doneness. For best results, cover with foil and allow to stand for 3 minutes before enjoying. For food safety, cook to an internal temperature of 145°F as measured by a food thermometer. Appliances and product thickness may vary; adjust cooking time accordingly. Do not microwave. Refrigerate or discard leftovers immediately.

Great quality cut of beef and good flavor
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family loves a good steak so I am always on the look out for good cuts at reasonable prices. I don’t think fresh steak when shopping at Target but these pepper crusted petite sirlons looked really good so I picked them up. I did not follow the package directions to bake. I pan seared with a little olive oil, garlic and butter and cooked them to a perfect medium using my meat thermometer. I was in complete shock after the first bite, the steak was juicy, tender and the perfect amount of seasoning, no other seasoning was needed. These cut of steaks were just as good as what I buy from the butcher. There was no extra fat, it was all trimmed off and the taste and tenderness far exceeded my expectations. Each steak was a half pound and I could not finish it in one sitting. I will be adding these steaks to the shopping list due to quality and value.

Yummy mid week quick steak
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect price for a humble steak. I decided to pan sear it with a bit of butter, salted and a couple of cloves of garlic. I have to confess I didn’t have high hopes for this steak but I was pleasantly surprised. It came out flavorful. Package comes with 2 big steaks, one caviott, the steak was uneven in thickness so I had to maneuver a way to achieve equal temperature.

A great cut of steak without breaking the bank
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You will love this black pepper encrusted, petite sirloin, pan sear for two or three minutes on each side to your desired doneness. It’s even better on a hot grill. This cut a steak is extremely flavorful without a lot of fat. Always make sure to cut this steak on the bias or against the grain so you get the most tender bite available. It’s definitely agreat cut of steak without breaking the bank on the much higher priced steaks.

Flavorful peppercorn seasoned steak
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This peppercorn seasoned sirloin steak was really delicious!! It was tender and flavorful, easy to cut and chew. Rare- medium Steak is one of my favorites and it came out perfectly seasoned on my stovetop. This is a great for a fancy dinner or easy enough to do anytime you need something for dinner. Steak is a great way to get iron and protein and this is one of the most flavorful ways I’ve had it .

Bad prep instructions results in overcook
The taste is honestly pretty good but the preparation is way off especially when considering cooking one of the two pieces. Following the 28 min baking time results in a well done steak. I didn’t even have to do the 3-4 minute broil to know I was getting an overcooked steak. What I did for the second steak was much better than the suggested prep. Let the steak come to room temp. In a stainless steel pan, bring it up to heat to sear the bottom (which has no seasoning) and leave in it for 3-5 minutes while checking the crust. After that, remove the steak, add some neutral oil, and add the steak back for 3 minutes on the other side. You might need to finish in the oven to get your desired temp but I was able to get a nice medium with my method

Bad, tastes weird.
A nightmare and waste of money, beef, peppercorn, the CO2 and water produced in raising the cow, and all else. You can practically blame all global warming onto this abomination. DON'T BUY any value-added meats from Target it's guaranteed to be worse than DIY at home!
