Painting Magic!

We love the fun themes Crayola uses for their products and how much they relate to the kids likes. We would have loved a longer cord for this activity, but overall it's a lot of fun and allows my son to paint without a lot of supervision, freeing me to make dinner etc.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 3 year old enjoyed painting with the magic light brush set. The set up was simple and straightforward and it really is mess free. He especially liked that the pen lights up when he hovers over the paint colors. I plan to use this daily and especially on long road trips. The pen has a chord which means no little pieces to keep track of which is a plus with a 3 year old.

Great for little artists without the clean up

Great and creative, but needs a few improvements
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My child really enjoyed using the Crayola Color Wonder Magic Light Brush – Bluey Edition! The brush is a great size for small hands, and the whole “magic color” concept kept my little one engaged and excited to paint. It’s a mess-free way to let kids explore creativity without worrying about stains, which I love. However, we ran into a couple of issues. The biggest challenge was remembering to wipe the brush between colors — if you forget, the colors can mix and turn muddy. That makes it a bit tricky for younger kids who like to paint independently. The green color also didn’t seem to work properly and came out more gray than green, which was disappointing. Overall, it’s a fun and clever art set that encourages creativity, but it could use some improvements — especially making the color transitions easier for little artists.

My youngest loves it!

My son was able to mix up the colors on his sheet and allow his artistic juices to flow. My youngest son colored 4 sheets in one sitting which is a lot for him. It kept him engaged and interested for a long time.

Quick Paint Activity without the Mess
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this magic light brush. It is quick and easy to let my little ones paint without having to clean up a big mess like with regular paint. We didn't fully read all of the directions page before beginning and missed the tip about cleaning the brush before switching colors, so now our colors are all mixed up, but the kids still enjoy it. An improvement I would suggest is adding that tip in the actual step by step directions of how to use the product, so it doesn't get missed!

Mess free, hassle free painting with Bluey!

We use them on the go (car, dining out, grandparents house) for keeping our 3 and 5 year old entertained. They loved the Bluey pages and we found the paint container easily packed for quick travel. The 3 year old especially loved the light up paint brush, often adding lots of color “paint” before putting it on the activity papers. This is a great addition to the traditional color wonder markers. Please note, you will need a screw driver and AA batteries for the painting set. It has an on and off switch.

Fun Paint Palette without cleanup needed!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Color Wonder Bluey Magic Light Brush Set was a fun mess free activity for my 2 and 6 year olds. The set has 6 different colors in a palette and 18 special coloring pages. 3 AA batteries are needed for the light up brush feature, but the brush can still be played with without the batteries. It was neat with the brush lighting up to match the color touched on the palette. It was fun to “paint” with the brush, but it was hard to fill in the drawings with the bristles. It would be nice to include some markers to fill in the gaps. Also, the green was not green for us, but more of a grayish-purple, so that caused a little bit of an upset. Overall, it was a fun little paint set without worrying about the colors getting anywhere else beside the special paper. It is a nice product for gifting or a little activity to keep the kids busy. Very fun concept!

One of the biggest difficulties for kids when using paints is rinsing the paint brush and accidentally mixing colors that they don't want mixed. With this you dont have to worry about.
