Crazy Aaron's Happy Earth - Full Size Thinking Putty Tin with Magnet

Very difficult to open. I had to wedge something between the lid and base. I’ve asked several people to open it for me. Finally tonight, I tried to open it myself with a butter knife. The entire bottom of the tin need to be pushed inward to pry the lid off. 1 - there’s not very much in the tin 2 - I had to use butter knife again to fry the magnet that’s on it up. 3 - the putty is very firm and does not mold very well. It looks nothing like other people’s pictures in my opinion.

I bought this thinking putty today for my little sister, however even though it’s good quality putty, the magnet will not stick to the putty at all. She is very disappointed that the magnet does not work at all. She doesn’t know if it’s the putty that is defective or the magnet. She also started crying and saying that she will sue the company even though she is only 12 years old.

Not sure if I just got a bad batch or something but it does not react to the magnet at all. Isn't that the whole point? Other than that.. its a decent putty good for exercising the hands but I would have chosen a different one had I known the magnet was just a useless accessory.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this because I have another magnetic putty (Tidal Wave) and I absolutely love it, so I decided to give Happy Earth a try and I'm glad I did. It is a greenish blue color, and depending on what angle you look at it is the color that dominates. t's a stiffer putty than others, and that is a good thing as it holds it's shape longer when you mould it. You can see the metallic sparkles in it in certain light, and when you get it close to the magnet, the suspended particles really come to the surface. A really nice putty to play with.

Bought this putty yesterday and it looks gorgeous. I love the iridescence that it has. Additionally, in comparison to another older putty I bought, it doesn't smell terrible. My only problem with it is that the magnet doesn't work too well if the putty is still cold.

Kinda smells like metal which disgusts me unfortunately.

I personally wasn’t a fan. The magnet isn’t terribly reactive with the putty, the putty feels sort of greasy, the glitter comes off onto my hands and I’m not in love with the texture of the putty. It’s a cool putty but I never find myself wanted to use it.

Bought this one today as I was interested in getting a magnetic putty. The texture threw me off at first, but after messing with it for a while I determined that it was fine and left minimal residue. I love the color and the fact that a magnet was included. Leaving it alone with the magnet for a while will result in the putty “consuming” the magnet, which is really cool. The magnetic properties of the putty are fun to experiment with, you can create both an attraction effect and repulsion effect.

It was neat to watch it crawl around the magnet that came included in the tin. The putty on its own was enjoyable to stretch and squish. Fun for kids and adults alike!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought the putty would be reactive to the magnet than it actually was. You definitely need to get the putty nice and soft and warmed up so it flows better. It was cool to place the magnet on top of the putty and watch it get sucked in slowly!

It was fun to play with! The thinner you stretched the putty the easier the magnet would pick it up! It was fun to watch the magnet sink into the putty after leaving it sit on it for a few.

My daughters and I really love this one. The colors are gorgeous and the putty is so fun to play with. Having the magnetic putty is so much fun. You can use the magnet and it can stick right to the putty and you can lift it up with the magnet. Lots of fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first thing I thought when I opened this was “wow this color is so pretty and fun!” Its chameleon colored so you see greens, purples, blues, etc when you look at it. It also comes with a chameleon heavy duty magnet. It's fun to make the putty move around using the magnet as well as squeezing and pulling the putty!
