Like all mouthwash products that effectively fight plaque and gingivitis, Crest Pro-Health Anti-Plaque / Anti-Gingivitis mouthwash products contain and active ingredient that is recognized as safe and effective. These rinses can contribute to temporary, surface-level brown tooth discoloration. This tooth discoloration is actually a sign your mouthwash is working. After it kills germs in your mouth, the dead germs can collect on the tooth surface and create the appearance of a brown stain. Brown discoloration is reversible and preventable. To help aid in the removal of tooth surface stain, we recommend a tartar-control/whitening toothpaste, a power toothbrush, floss, and regular dental visits. Based on your experience, we do recommend you discontinue using this mouthwash, and ask that you hold onto it, in the event our team would like to collect it. Just Okay,....
I bought this online and took a chance with it. I've actually been using another brand for years that I love and it's become super difficult to find anymore which is why I tried this one. I went solely off the reviews. It's not awful, but I was NOT super satisfied with the taste. So I went out of my way to buy the brand I've been buying - I just had to drive to a store near me to pick it up which was a bit of a hassle. I won't be buying this one anymore, unfortunately. I wish I could give it rave reviews, but not the case.

I tipped the bottle into the clear plastic cup built into the cap and swished for a full minute because the mild mint felt cool instead of fiery. I noticed my teeth stayed slick until lunch, about five hours on a coffee free morning, and closer to three when I nursed a second cup. The flavor fades fast, so I do not walk around tasting mint all day, which I like. After two weeks I saw fewer new sensitive spots along the gum line, so I believe the fluoride is doing its quiet work. The twin liter set lasts almost three months in our house, and the bottles stand steady on the narrow shelf above the sink. I only wish the cap threads were a little smoother, because I sometimes cross thread them in the early dark and the sticky ring annoys me while I rinse. Still, I keep reordering because the routine feels gentle enough to maintain, and my dentist keeps giving me the same clean report.

Clean

My favourite mouthwash for years!
This is my all time favourite mouthwash. The flavour is so great and fresh and the freshness lasts for a long time. Does not give the horrible burning feeling like other mouthwashes. Can often find it on sale which is a plus!

This mouthwash tastes so fresh and delivers such a fresh deep clean , effective feeling of cleanliness. It helps loosens plaque that brushing and flossing wouldn't remove. The price is a little more than I would more than I would typically spend . Totally worth the dental visits that I get glowing results and feedback where my gums are not swollen or red or bleeding from plaque or dbuilt up debris or calculus.

Powerful clean without the burn
Crest Pro-Health Advanced Care Mouthwash has become a staple in my oral care routine. I love that it’s alcohol-free—no burning sensation at all, just a cool, refreshing mint that makes my mouth feel super clean. It leaves my breath fresh for hours and gives me that just-left-the-dentist feeling every time I use it. What really sets this mouthwash apart is how gentle it is, even with its strong antibacterial power. It fights plaque and strengthens enamel thanks to the added fluoride, and you can actually feel the difference after using it consistently. That said, I did notice some very mild staining on my teeth after a few weeks. I looked it up and found out it’s a known side effect from one of the ingredients (CPC), and it’s pretty rare—but something to be aware of. Regular brushing and whitening toothpaste helped clear it up for me. Also, the texture can foam a little more than other rinses, which might feel strange at first but doesn’t bother me anymore. Overall, I’d say this is a great choice if you want a deep clean without the harsh burn of alcohol-based rinses. Just keep an eye out for staining if you’re sensitive to that.
