I have been redeeming these gift cards when they are on sale for years. But as of today only 5 of 6 would redeem on cricket wireless. I go out there and I see another review with the exact same issue, so I am adding to the list. If you contact target, they won't help with third party cards. If you contact cricket, they say contact target. You are basically out of the money on one card. Target used to wait to send you the cards for 4 hours. I now notice they come instantly. I cannot help but think there is now a system issue. Regardless, it seems I am now out $40

I buy these every time they are on sale. You can stack as many as you want on your cricket account. I have a 5 person family plan, and when purchased in varied amounts according to what the sale is, I basically get a few free months every year. I don't understand any negative reviews. Possibly that you can't redeem thru the app, log into their website and it will walk you right thru it. Never had an issue and I have loaded 6 months of credit in advance. Even with just my 5% Red Card savings, it adds up to a great discount on something I have to buy sale or not.

I’m writing this because I glanced at the reviews and had to say something. The vast majority of the complaints and low scores are from people who can't figure out how to use it. It’s literally just a dumb card to make a payment. It's not that complicated. People should learn to accept that they don't understand and it's not the card's fault.

I did not know that when I bought this item, it would expire within about three weeks. I bought it as a gift for my grandmother. She didn’t know how to set it up and I’m not going to her house because of Covid. I tried to help her via zoom, only to find out that it was expired after about 15 days!! Target is also saying this item is not allowed to be returned. So now I have a useless $80 gift card and don’t get a refund.

Very difficult to redeem. On the phone for an hour to solve. One solution I found was that I could redeem by entering my refill card as if it were a credit card. I had to call this number here (and enter my gift card as a credit card: 1-800-274-2538

I am a REPEAT buyer with this Cricket Prepaid card and don't understand why the negative reviews. I have no issue with the order processing, receiving an using this prepaid card at all. The order processing is fast and in most case, you will receive the email with the codes within 30 minutes. I used all the codes without any problem at all. It's easy as 1-2-3. All the negative reviews are probably due to user error.
If you see duplicated reviews from me, remember, this is not a Target system/website error. This is because I am a REPEAT buyer and have purchased tons of these Cricket Prepaid Payment Cards in the past.

i bought two cards. one for 25 dollars, one for 40 to get the buy one get one 10% off discount. the 25 dollars one worked but the 40 did not. i called to check the balance to find out the 40 dollars card had 36 not 40. there is no discount. i basically paid full price.
