A: Cricut Explore 3 and Cricut Maker 3 have been designed, optimized, and rigorously tested for use with Smart Materials. Smart Materials are not intended for use with previous-generation Cricut Explore or Cricut Maker machines unless placed on a machine mat. Using Smart Materials with older machines without a mat may cause material jams, compromise cutting precision, and damage machine parts, so this use is at your own risk.

Bigger than the machine
This is a really good brand. It appears really good and it’s easy to weed. It also has very good transfer, but my only concern is that it is actually bigger than the standard cricut mat. I had to cut off about a half an inch in order for it to fit in the machine and on the mat for cutting.

Not For Weeding
Item is as described, but this vinyl is a nightmare to weed. If you plan on doing a design with smaller areas do NOT use this product.

This is great to use for cricut maker and explorer. You don't need the smart machines, I put it on a mat if I have smaller pieces to cut and it works to the same as no mat. Great to use for cups.
