Faster cutting speed
Similar operation to my Explore and Maker but faster. I feel like it cuts the fastest when I use the Kraftboard setting. I don’t feel it’s as fast with the heavy cardstock setting.

Not worth upgrading.
My Maker 3 broke so I figured I'd upgrade to the Maker 4. Basically it's just faster and louder and that's it. Not every material can be cut faster. It'd be a lot better if the speed could be adjusted per material. I definitely wouldn't recommend anyone else "upgrade" to this.

I love my Maker 4 but...
I love the Maker 4 but I HATE the changes to Design Space that are being made. By moving the editing tools to the right side, you lose the majority of the working canvas. You cant shrink the layers panel so between the editing panel and the layers panel, there isn't much room to work. I don't understand the reasons for the changes but would prefer the changes be undone.

Maker 4
I had to replace my Maker 3 and upgraded to the Maker 4. It is much faster and cuts wonderfully. I love the options for tools and smart products.

URGENT RESOLUTION NEEDED
Love Cricut but have not been able to use new maker 4 because there is an issue with Cricut download working correctly wit windows 11! The material color is blank and has been that way since Sept 2025! I reported last year then again today (1-14-2026)! Something to do with Cricut app color coding not working!!

Absolutely horrible. I bought this to start making stickers, i made about 10 before i stopped for a few weeks, i come back and the whole app is updated, half of the features are missing and now stickers you have to pay a monthly fee to make!? Paid hundreds just to have to pay monthly fees to make stickers. Fix your website & fix your whole system. Useless waste of money.

I am loving the Cricut Maker 4 so far. I upgraded from the Explore Air 2 so it’s a learning curve but only to learn new things. I can’t wait to use my different tools to etch or cut balsa wood or thicker pieces of felt, etc. I wish there was a different color option but the seashell is really gorgeous

Bought cricut maker 4 as gift
I tried to buy a bundle but I was not permitted to do so because I already had a cricut account. I wanted to purchase a bundle for my daughter in law. I was forced to purchase all the other cricut items a la carte at full price.

Upgraded from the original Maker to Maker 4. What a difference! The speed it reads the registration marks and cuts the design makes cricut crafting so much more enjoyable
