Cryo-MAX Cold Packs have been designed with a unique, technological design that allow the cold pack to remain cold for up to eight hours. This long-lasting relief makes it perfect for most common injuries, sore muscles, strains and sprains. CryoMAX features patented 'Points of Cold' technology that draws heat from the injury and applies therapeutic cold for precise pain relief. The medium size Cryo-MAX cold pack is 12" x 6", comes with an adjustable support wrap with hook and loop straps that can even be washed for maximum value and versatility. Q: is there any way to hold one or two of these well enough on my arm end to end lengthwise so I can be up and around? (Gashes bruises and swelling from below shoukder to wrist from an accident)

A: Yes! I wanted to do the same thing so I bought 4 of them and use the handy straps to link them together!

Q: How do you guys store this after use? Always keep it in the freezer or only freeze just before you need it?

A: I keep mine all in the freezer and rotate for use for my lumbar back pain.
submitted byWizardress WhereItHurts - 3 years agoA: Most people keep CryoMAX in their freezer so it is ready to use when needed. It is recommended that you leave it in the freezer at least two hours before use.

Q: Can this get through TSA to use on flight? Hoping I can store it in and insulated bag w/ice, ditch ice right before TSA to keep frozen. Saw post allowing "partially frozen" items through for medical use, so hoping this will be sufficient?

A: Hi Corey, TSA States "Frozen liquid items are allowed through the checkpoint as long as they are frozen solid when presented for screening. If frozen liquid items are partially melted, slushy, or have any liquid at the bottom of the container, they must meet 3-1-1 liquids requirements. Note that medically necessary gel ice packs in reasonable quantities are allowed regardless of their physical state of matter (e.g., melted or slushy). Please notify the TSA officer at the checkpoint for inspection." My recommendation would be to wear a frozen CryoMAX to security and ask the TSA agent before you take it off so they can see you wearing it and claim it is for medical reasons. I cannot guarantee it will get through but based on their own policy, it should.

A: CryoMAX is not designed to be used direct to skin. The patented design gets very cold so the cloth exterior is meant to protect the skin.

A: Cool Sculpting is an FDA approved treatment. CryoMax was not designed for this type of treatment. It was developed for normal sprains and strains to relieve pain and reduce swelling.

I've tested so many varieties, not just the ones here at Target but I've tried 'high quality' ones online. THIS is by far, the coldest ice pack of all of them... unfortunately it will eventually crack, break and leak the liquid. Since I can't find another ice pack that gets this cold, I have just continued to buy a new one of these, every time my current one break/busts/leaks. I'm probably on my 7th ot 8th one over a few years of purchasing these. I wish they made these stronger, because you will not find a colder, longer lasting ice pack. I will switch brands as soon as I find one this cold, that doesn't break. Until then they have got me I guess!

My doctor told me to get this for my hip bursitis but the ICE pack is so heavy, it slides down my leg. Also, when it's frozen, it's lumpy and has sharp, uncomfortable points. I don't care for it at all.
It leaked and we didn't know. I'm concerned and thinking to throw out anything not sealed in the freezer.

This is the best ice pack ever. Before you put it in the freezer you need to put the sleeve on or it will be way to cold to use. I’m giving it one star because someone stole the sleeve out of the box and I had to return it.

This cold pack freezes quickly, molds to form needed (broken ribs wrapped great), and stays cold inside the wrap. I bought 2 to keep ice ready in rotation. I cant praise enough at the performance and mainly due to the fact it will "hug" the area you place it on. No hard ice chunks.
