A: For best performance, periodically sharpen the V-edge of your knives using a whetstone. In between sharpenings, you can use a honing rod to keep knife edges honed and clean.

they were great while they lasted
I bought these less than a year ago. They were fantastic, sharp and cuts thru meat like butter. But they are rusting already? Cuisinart use to be a top brand in kitchenwear. I guess not anymore..

Not worth it
We have these knives as part of the block set. They stay sharp and sharpen easily when needed, however… we wash and dry them right away to avoid rust, which is a pain. Although the handles are hollow, they are constantly falling off our plates and we are doing an Irish jig to avoid stabbed feet. Also, one of the knives has something in the handle rattling and it’s super annoying to use.

Yikes!
This is the first steak knives I have had. I really wanted a set. The only thing is the tips are super pointy. I am afraid to allow my tween to use them for her steak. I feel like steak knives should not have a sharp tip, because that isn’t the part you use to cut your steak. Cuisinart is easy to clean.
