A: This can opener will open all standard size cans. It should not be used on cans that have alternate methods of opening (including but not limited to pull-tabs, rolling key and peel-off foil). It also should not be used with rimless cans or cans with angled corners

Deluxe Can Opener
Bought this can opener after comparing many others. This one replaced an old model of another name that quit mid-opening of a can. This one operates hands free once engaged, and stops when opening is complete and captures the lid. Can’t go wrong, slim in size, attractive in black, and a detachable opener part. Very easy to clean and put that part back in. No complaints. Don’t hesitate to buy, affordable.

Great little can opener!
Love this can opener! So much easier to use than a hand-held one. Magnet works great and within a few seconds the can is open. I will say safety wise, I wish that the opener with blade/magnet that pops off had a protection over the blade or the blade could pop in when not in use and pop back out when in use. It is probably too hard to make something like that, but just my advice!

The Cuisinart Deluxe Can Opener works extremely well. No need to hold the can once it starts. Just an FYI: If you're opening something with a lot of liquid, just pull up lever before it reaches full circle to avoid any splatter

Opens cans as expected. Plastic handle not great
After struggling with various manual crank can openers that only work on some cans, we finally decided to get an electric one. The Cusinart opens them quite nicely. The only complaint we have is that the mechanism/handle that sticks out the top that you use to clamp down on the can, easily pops out when releasing the can. This handle is also plastic so we're not sure how long it will last.

This can opener is wonderful. It has a great magnet holding lid while can is turning. The design is sleek and modern. Cans seem to be hard to open with hand can opener these days. This opener has saved me cutting myself many times over with my old can opener. Its quiet and fits in with my kitchen great.

Requires very little counter space, I again am able to open cans. The old hand operated can openers, even the nice ones were non functional for my hands. The Cuisinart electric can open is so sassy to operate and clean, wish I was able to get one sooner.

Convenient, reliable, & great can opener
I was looking for a more convenient can opener then the normal hand kind. I had purchased so many different ones and all broke. My husband gifted me this for the house and boy has been a joy to use! Easy and small to store on our countertop. :)
