  • A: The power cut blade will slice the top off a can in an effortless motion. The top of the can will not be perfectly smooth and should be discarded.

    I may be even happier with my purchase than most of your customers! I’m in my 90s with RA which has also damaged my hands and wrists. I’m a vegetarian and get lots of my protein from black beans and garbanzos. I could no longer turn my great old openers…both a right handed and a left handed one. So…Voila!! This is the perfect solution. Thanks, Cuisinart. (II love my pans, too.)

    The BEST CAN OPENER

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My past can open was a Hamilton beach, it was difficult to get the can started. It seemed like a fight every time. I have an array of cuisinart appliances. All on my counter top for easy access. My food processor is 38 yrs old. My griddle/panini is 20 yrs old. My toaster is 14yr old. I bought cuisinart because of its durability and ease of use. I love love the can opener. It works so easy on first try. Never knew opening a can could be so easy. VERY HAPPY WITH MY PURCHASE.

    Awesome product

    From the first use of this can opener I was beeyond impressed. When you depress the handle it is a positive lock on the can. It is the quietest I have used. It operation is as smooth as it is queit. I would highly recommend this can opener to anyone.

    Perfect can opener

    The Cuisinart electric can opener is a life saver. It quickly and easily opens can lids and holds on to the lid and can when the process is finished. It makes life in the kitchen much better. I'll never use a manual can opener again.
