A: The power cut blade will slice the top off a can in an effortless motion. The top of the can will not be perfectly smooth and should be discarded.

Awesome product
From the first use of this can opener I was beeyond impressed. When you depress the handle it is a positive lock on the can. It is the quietest I have used. It operation is as smooth as it is queit. I would highly recommend this can opener to anyone.

Perfect can opener
The Cuisinart electric can opener is a life saver. It quickly and easily opens can lids and holds on to the lid and can when the process is finished. It makes life in the kitchen much better. I'll never use a manual can opener again.
