The can opener seemed strong, but a screw came loose after a month, making it unusable. Disappointed in construction quality.

PRODUCT IS VERY VERSITILE. WORKS FINE. FAR BETTER THAN MANUAL CAN OPENER AT MY AGE. WISH THE POWER CORD WAS LONGER.

This is my second purchase of the Smooth Touch can opener. My first one was over nine years old and the cutter blade was just worn out.

I recently purchased this item and I’m in love with it. It’s extra tall so even my bigger items can be opened. The auto shut off & removable cutting piece make it easy to use, clean and maintain. The knife sharpener is an added bonus 👍

I'm doing this review not only because of the giveaway, but because this can opener truly is one of the BEST I've ever tried. I've had so many can openers in our home over the years. I maybe would get 1 year or 2 at best out of most can openers I've tried. I decided to try the Hamilton Beach Classic can opener, but was obviously had reservations that it may not be good for long because of it's cheap price. I was blown away. I've had this can opener for years. It's truly done it's job & I've got my money's worth. It's easy to use, you can get cans to cut quick without multiple tries, and it's easy to clean. The design is clean too so it matches with all of my other appliances. This can opener is what caused me to try other products from Hamilton Beach. We've got a little set going on now. So if you're looking for a good quality can opener that's inexpensive try this one.

This is actually a replacement for a 15 year old (exact) model. The one I replaced still worked but the magnet was missing and it was just "time". Great can opener, never let's me down and the knife sharpener is an added bonus.

This has become my new best friend and my most favorite small appliance in my kitchen. It works beautifully every single time I need to open a can. So far, I haven’t seen any jagged edges on the tops that you normally see with manual can openers. I am so glad I chose this one because it has been a true lifesaver for my hands and wrists!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This can opener is excellent! I make soups and chili on cold days often and they have several ingredients that require canned goods. The magnet on this can opener is amazing! It's very strong and lift the can right up where it stays. I tried it on the extra large nacho cheese can and it even held that up without me needing to push it up firmly underneath, very impressive! It works quickly and isn't too loud. It's easy to clean with a warm, damp cloth of your can pop off the top and put it in the dishwasher!

Can handle the big cans too and that's important to me.its also very stylish and sleek looking.a very nice can opener for sure. You won't be sorry purchasing this that's for sure. The opener held the lid from the can out of the way until I was ready to put it in the recycling. I can see that when I want to open a lot of cans for common recipe, this will be a great helper. It also looks nice on our counter.

The magnet is super strong and really holds the can - the razor is sharp and it just works so clean and fast - I really can't say enough about how great this can opener is - its fantastic!
