A: The power cut blade will slice the top off a can in an effortless motion. The top of the can will not be perfectly smooth and should be discarded.

Q: In the white version, do you have to continually hold down the lever to open can, or just press it down once? Or is this feature only available in the chrome version?

A: Thank you for your inquiry about the Cuisinart Deluxe Can Opener. This unit has single touch operation so once cutting begins there's no need to hold down the lever. Once cutting is complete the unit will shut off on its own.

Waste of $$. From the start, it only worked on standard 16 oz cans,now not even those. Cheaply made plastic parts. Do not buy!

I was looking for a more convenient can opener then the normal hand kind. I had purchased so many different ones and all broke. My husband gifted me this for the house and boy has been a joy to use! Easy and small to store on our countertop. :)

most of us are creatures of nature and are hesitant to try different brands. Well, I am so glad I found this deluxe can opener and brand. It runs circles around competition. Simple, effecient and reliable. Easy to clean and looks very nice on my kitchen counter. I didn't need all the bells and whistles; just open a can! It performs beautifully - it does the job!

This is a great can opener. It is so easy to use, and it opens your cans quickly. It is so much better than using a hand held can opener. I had a name brand handheld can opener that rusted up. The Cusinart electric can opener is so much better quality. I would definitely recommend this item.
