Q: As usual with mini-fridges, the lower back of fridge is exposed. One of the lines is wrapped in styrofoam tubing and secured with zip ties: Should this covering be removed or should it remain covered?

As usual with mini-fridges, the lower back of fridge is exposed. To secure the cooling mechanisms during shipping a styrofoam cube had been inserted, which I removed. There is also a line that is wrapped in styrofoam tubing and is secured with zip ties (see photo) … DO NOT REMOVE the styrofoam tubing. It covers the copper tubing that carries the refrigerant for the cooling system. It needs to be insulated for efficiency and so that it does not drip condensate (learned this via Reddit). The frige is GREAT and home delivery was so convenient. While the lower back corner was slightly dented during shipping (a common occurrence), it is not noticeable so it doesn’t bother me. For ease of cleaning around the fridge, I paired this with a rolling stand. I then added a silicone floor mat … since I’ve been known to accidentally freeze soda cans (which explode/leak out). Great setup. I highly recommend.

It's a good fridge for the office. I got it as it was advertised one could swap which side the door opens. After attempting to unscrew the 3 screws, 1 easily became stripped as it was so tightly screwed in. I cannot switch the sides due to this.
