Q: Are these bowls designed in a way that keeps them from wobbling when mixing? Is the bottom of the bowls flat? Do these bowls have rubber on the bottom to keep them from moving when mixing or stirring?

A: The rubber is nice for anti-slip on the counter but interferes if you want to use the bowls as a double-boiler. You can always put a potholder or rubber can opener under to mitigate slipping. In my opinion, these are more versatile. Depends on how you use them.

A: Lucy, the lids are made from plastic. These are my go-to bowls for mixing and storage. They are freezer safe and are prefect for transport. I love them so much that I own 2 sets!

A: Ann, Yes, these lids are BPA free and dishwasher safe. These are my favorite bowls and any time I bring them to a party, I am asked where I purchased them. They are wonderful, I've had mine for years.

I wanted these forever but didn’t purchase because I thought they wee me too expensive. finally i succumbed, and let me tell you, they are awesome. i use them to store everything from dry cereal to cool fruit salads. i wish i had more- but they are pretty pricey - maybe some day. awesome product.

Bowls are sturdy, deep, and well suited for a host of cooking tasks. The lids are surprisingly effective at sealing, considering there is no O-ring or latching system.

Absolutely PERFECT! The size, the weight, the lids, the stainless steel. They really are the perfect set. The Lisa are super helpful when nesting to transport or store leftovers. I bought this set because my previous roommate was a chef and, let’s just say, he enjoyed good quality. His sister was also a professional personal chef and she recommended this set as well. I looked at other companies and sets and this one was just very all encompassing for what is needed from a mixing bowl set. I expect to have this set for a very long time and looking forward to all the great recipes and hopefully memories that I will make with them! Thanks Cuisinart for making such an awesome product, as you have done with all of your products.

I like these bowls better than what I had, the lids are easier to get on plus they fit in my cupboard so much easier! I tested the lids as soon as I got the bowls w water and definitely leak proof! I will definitely recommend these bowls to friends and family!
