A: Thank you so much for this question. Yes, Daiya Cheddar Style, White Cheddar, Alfredo Cheezy Mac, and the Four Cheeze with Herbs flavor are kosher certified by the Orthodox Union (OU) Kosher certification program. The only Daiya Cheezy Mac that does not carry the OU certification is the Daiya Cheddar and Meatless Bacon flavor.

You can’t tell that it is a healthy choice or that is not dairy. It’s super easy to make and it’s a good go to if you want to be healthy or if your lactose intolerant

It comes in a nice packaging that can be shut off for later usage since this has several servings. The cooking instructions are straight forward, anyone can make it! The taste and texture though might not be as good as actual mad & cheese but, it certainly is a good alternative. Serving it up with shredded bbq chicken and some garnish is a great idea to complete the meal 🙌🏻

I follow a vegetarian diet and have no other restrictions but like to explore with vegan options when possible. The mac & cheese is definitely creamy and flavor wasn’t too bad, but personally the texture of the gluten free noodles threw me off a bit. If you’re used to that you may enjoy it more. Overall I do think it’s a good option if you have dairy and/or gluten restrictions but wouldn’t go out of my way to repurchase it myself.

Sadly, vegan cheese isn’t typically the same so I’d just settled on not having my comfort food. This was very easy to make, tasted just like full-dairy Mac and cheese, was priced similar to normal shelf stable mac, and had the added bonus of having limited ingredients - none of which triggered my food sensitivities! It’s a win for our house and I’ve already bought two more boxes to have on hand for days when I want my favorite comfort food.
