I haven't had the chance to use it much yet but it was easy to understand how to install- needs 2 people if one of you is an average woman but only one if you are someone who lifts weights. It was more powerful than I expected and cleared the room it was in of heat and humidity very fast. I don't know what it would be like if I had needed to run it more - I'm sure I'll find out when the next heat wave arrives but so far, I am impressed and happy

Actually quite easy to install. Secure in window and no need for an exterior support. Instructions could be better and also not enough of the weather stripping product so had to contact to get more.

Great product and with great price. I am using it for the first time on a very hot and humid day and unfortunately there is the water dripping out. I was hoping that a new unit would have the condensation water evaporated by the waste heat produced.

AC works well in terms of keeping the entire house cool but cheaply made with plastic. It starts off not too noisy when put the power on and then after some time can have a humming noise off/on. My previous Danby AC lasted more than 17 years because it was made with high quality material/metals; not cheap platic. I hope this new one will last more than a couple of years. I have been using my new AC for about one month now and bought another Danby brand because I was so happy with my previous one. Let's hope the same with this one!

The unit is efficient at cooling a large space with high ceilings. It's a bit noisy and seems to go on and off quite a bit but I am happy with the overall purchase for the price.

I bought this to replace my 20 year old Dandy Air Conditioner, I like the unit mostly but I noticed water pooling inside the unit and I cannot find a drainage hole. I’m concerned that the water is collecting inside without draining properly.
