Pretty Good
Freezer is working well a few weeks in, nice little size. However, there is some moisture condensation along the right side of the freezer along the grey seal. I'm not sure what's causing this as there is nothing to the eye that's breaking the seal nor are there any bends in the seal. I have another Danby freezer that I picked up second hand and it does not have this issue.

Great freezer for a small space.
It fits perfectly in our small space. The capacity is better than expected. Now we can actually make ahead meals and purchase items on sale to freeze. Our main fridge only has a small freezer and has been an issue. Also appreciate having a 5 year warranty!

Good So Far
Have only used freezer a couple weeks now. It replaces a similar size freezer i had since the mid 80s whose seals were bad but whose compressor was quiet. i seriously doubt if this freezer will last as long, dont you? So far, so good but a couple of minuses: 'In home' warranty not suited to rural areas. i shouldve realized this but didnt until it arrives, oh well. we have another Danby which is still running so i have hopes for it...also, flimsy-looking cord.....

Good Chest Freezer
My second Danby Freezer, good size for a small house or even an apartment. My last one worked very well. I have only had this a short time so hard to judge but expect that it will also work for a long while.

A family member of mine has an old Danby chest freezer that has lasted for over 30 years on the same compressor without issues, so it was only right, that when I needed to get one, it was to be a Danby.

This freezer is great for apartment living. It freezes perfectly. It's also pretty quiet. A little louder when it cools but it's ok. The Danby freezers are of great quality. We had two before and they lasted years. 5 years warranty help too. So far there're no problems two and a half weeks in and hopefully this freezer will also last for a long time. Would buy again :)

Frost buildup under lid
Frost buildup under lid since new. New lid gasket did not solve the issue. Waiting to see if I will get a refund or unit replaced under warranty. Very disappointed as this is my second Danby purchase.

Perfectly sized little freezer
This is my first freezer and I wasn't sure what size to get. 5 cu ft ended up being perfect. I chose this brand because it was garage ready and had a 5 year warranty. It got cold quickly and is actually quite quiet.
