This does not work at all. I do not understand the rave reviews. I bought this to clean grease off my pans. The first time I followed the directions and let the spray set for a few minutes. It did nothing. I tried again and let the foam sit for a few hours. A little came off but no more than soaking in regular Dawn or vinegar overnight. Don’t waste your money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dawn power wash is a staple in my house. We have tried everything for those tough dirt and grime on our dishes, mainly our pots and pans and this literally does the trick every time.

The product is labelled as free and clear, but is actually scented! Our household has severe fragrance sensitivities and misleading people with this wording (which is consistently used by other brands to indicate a lack of fragrance) is frustrating, never mind dangerous! Yes it says in tiny little letters underneath, “of dyes, light pear scent,” but the Free and Clear is the big wording, and the colourless, white, and blue packaging is synonymous with fragrance free from many other brands.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a complimentary bottle of Dawn Powerwash Free and Clear dish soap in exchange for my honest opinion. This dye free dish soap is better for the environment and better for my family’s health, but I do wish Dawn would ditch the plastic packaging and use a plant based bottle so that more plastic doesn’t get sent to the garbage landfills. The soap has a very light pear scent that is not overpowering. The soap does a great job of removing food particles and grease. The soap is fairly priced and goes on sale often at my local grocery store.

Any dish soap that can clear oil off of ducks is a win for me. It does exactly as you would think when you hear power wash; spray on tough grime and let it sit for just a second and you can see the magic happen. Sticky cheese no more. Day old bacon grease nope. It's all gone in one spray. I find you use less soap in a spray bottle as you would with a pump. The fact it is just all clean both ingredients wise and fish wise; nothing is better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This works so well! I have used it on my bulldogs bowl which had caked on food and slobber a pot that cooked rice and a pan used for Chinese chicken with a glaze. This product worked fast and effectively! No strong scent and gentle on my skin.

I like that it parcels out just one spray at a time, making it so you’re not using too much. I think you can buy refill packs too, making this a little more environmentally friendly.

Dawn seems to be the only one to get out all the grease stains, the burn marks and caked on oil deposits, for me. When Dawn came out with this spray, we decided to give it a try and loved it! I noticed I tend to go through the spray bottle a lot quicker than the regular liquid soap, which is a downfall, but human error on my part I believe. I love the original blue, but as I’m getting older, I am trying to eliminate any unnecessary dyes and scent in my daily products. When I saw this one come out I immediately giggled with joy and tried it. The formula and consistency is the exact same from the original. We have gotten out scrambled egg gunk from our pan without any issue, bacon grease is no longer solidified on my pans and my stove top has never looked cleaner since spraying it down with this and wiping it away. I do believe it is worth the money, but again it does seem to go quicker than the liquid. I notice I have to do a little less scrubbing with this one than the liquid, for whatever reason. I do like that you can save the actual sprayer, and just refill the liquid at a cheaper cost than buying a whole new bottle with the sprayer. I have been nothing but impressed with how Dawn keeps our dishes clean and spotless every time. I will continue to purchase and suggest this product.
