Would not recommend
Instruction manual informs customers that the product emits formaldehyde which could be a risk to elderly or young children. We have a new baby and would never install the product in our house when the instructions say they are at risk. Why Target would sell such a product is beyond me. The return window had closed by the time we installed it in our renovated house so it’s a total waste of money. Extremely unhappy with such poor quality and Target selling a product with a safety hazard.

Look ok, bad installation
Shelves look nice enough, but couldn't fully install because the screw holes on the bottom of the shelves didn't line up correctly with the holes inside the mounting brackets. Still fits the look fine and ok for lightweight decorations, but still a frustrating install and risks bowing/breaking the shelf if you force it.

Too big/bulky
There is nothing 'wrong' with this product, it just was too big for my room. My desk is a butcher block 1 1/2 inch thick, and these shelves are 2 inches think so hanging them above the desk dwarfed the desk too much. I found some 1 1/2 inch think shelves instead.

Good - But Not Well Built
The shelf itself is well made, but the mounting bracket is poorly constructed. I mounted two shelves and they both have the same problem. The metal bounting brackets are tilted upward. So, after installation the shelf is tilted up about 3/4 of an inch with the outside higher than the wall side. You can even see a gap between the bottom of the shelf and the wall. This is the result of poor construction/welding. I had to shim the upper side of the bracket away from the wall to correct for this issue.

Looks great but....
Packaged well so I don’t get how the corners are flawed. I ordered 2 at 2 different times and 2 corners are flawed on each one. Thankfully they were both to the back and underneath.. I was able to use a marker to cover up. Otherwise the product looks great!

Not real wood, great for the price. Appear to sit upwards but once you put items on the shelves they level out. Love these as an added touch in my kitchen! I hired someone to install so I can’t speak to the ease of installation. Have your level handy! I flipped the actual shelf upside down after installing the bracket so the tiny screws couldn’t be seen from the underside.
