Q: What is the size of each of the "boards." I have existing shiplap on our mantle, and I was thinking of using this as a background to the adjacent bookshelves. I would not want to do that if the size of the boards were too different.
A: each "board" measures approx. 5 1/4"
submitted byJslice - 4 years agoA: 20.5 inches x 20 inches

Q: Is this easily removed? We have a rental home and I’m looking for something that won’t damage any surfaces.
A: Yes, as long as the Peel and Stick wallpaper is applied to a painted surface in a eggshell, satin or semi-gloss sheen you should have no issues with removal peeling off paint.
submitted byDevine Color Support - 6 years agoBrand expertA: I did about half a wall and had to leave that last piece slightly off alignment (couldn't get to straighten it that day, because, toddlers :)) and when I came back a few days later to readjust that piece and finish the rest of the wall, that piece ripped off the paint and some drywall paper with it when I went to readjust and straighten (I have eggshell paint on the walls, which appears to be ok according to their instructions). Fortunately, I was cutting about 4-5 'boards' at a time and installing that instead of an entire length of paper so it didn't waste too much. However, for a renter, that damage would probably be significant and would probably ding your deposit.

Q: I want the shiplap pattern to run horizontally. Would the roll be hung vertically (floor to ceiling, cutting through the width of each 'board') or would the roll be hug right to left.
A: Just installed mine and to get the boards to run horizontally, you will be applying the wallpaper up and down/ceiling to floor.
submitted bynashville - 5 years agoA: To have your pattern run horizontally you would roll left to right.

Q: Can I use this wallpaper on a wall that has a curve in it??
A: Hello Kriddle - Great question! “Yes, Threshold Peel & Stick Wallpaper can be applied to curved walls. During installation, it is recommended to smooth the paper following the curve to help ensure the best results.” Thanks for asking! - Lakeisha

Q: Directions show for best results, purchase multiple rolls from same lot... How much of a difference is there if the Lot numbers do not match?
A: Hi- The item is the same regardless of the lot number so there shouldn't be much of a difference in the item style. -Stacie

Q: I've worked with some peel and stick wallpaper that is super thin and easily rips. More like contact paper. Would you say this wallpaper is thicker and easier to work with?
A: Hi – This is moderately thick wallpaper. Product works best when applied to eggshell, satin and semi-gloss paints. DIY friendly. Thanks for inquiring!

Q: Am finding the measurements confusing. I am trying to put on a wall that is 103inches tall and 139inches long (horizontally). So I would need 5 rolls since each ROLL is 198 inches tall but only 20 inches long??
A: Hello- Rounding up to the nearest foot with 11ft being your length and 9ft being your width this comes out to approximately 99 SQ ft. With this I recommend buying 4 rolls and you should have some left over. Please keep in mind that each roll will cover Covers 27.5 Square Feet. Hope this helps!

Q: I really hate to remove the wallpaper already on the walls. Would this apply to an already wallpapered wall that has a satin sheen to it?
A: Hi Lisa – Thanks for reaching out! This wallpaper is recommended to be stuck onto a smooth, primed and painted wall or surface that is in good condition. You may want to begin by testing a small section. Hope this helps! - Tim

Q: Can you use this shiplap on a smooth textured wall? Older home with a somewhat smoother textured plaster..
A: Hi Liza - This shiplap wallpaper would add style to your chosen space! It is recommended to put it on a smooth, primed and painted wall or surface that is in good condition. Some of our guests indicated that they put the wallpaper on orange peel textured walls without any issue. For more insight, please check out the reviews. Happy decorating! - Julie
