A: Hi- This is the advice from the rug vendor: A shag runner in a high traffic area is not meant to last a lifetime, however here are some tips/tricks to get it back to life a bit! Carpet brush or clean broom to revive flattened fibers. Spot clean any stains with a mild detergent, 409 works well too and then brush over the flattened fibers and vacuum thoroughly.-Stacie

Overall very satisfied with this purchase. The packaging was a train wreck when it arrived and there was a small rip in the rug from the packaging being destroyed but it is not very noticeable. Rug is not solid navy blue but has a lighter blue also woven in. Either way, it serves its purpose and looks great in our space.

This rug becomes your full time job
Okay honestly this was my favorite rug I’ve ever bought. It’s so cute and comfortable to walk on. BUT if you have a dog that sheds in the slightest, or might have an accident on the rug, forget it. It’s so impossible to vacuum or clean because it’s so shaggy. Ended up having to throw it out a year after buying because it was so much up keep :(

I am really loving this rug so far. It’s so soft underfoot and looks great. I was hesitant to get a fluffy white rug because it seemed like it would be a nightmare to keep clean, and to be honest we haven’t had it long enough to counter that issue, but we don’t walk on it with shoes and I also bought a metal tool to “rake” cat hair out of it if needed. This is a beautiful rug! It's a very dark blue; it may even look black in certain lighting. Very soft to the touch. My only complaint is the size. I needed a rug size that's approximately 6x9; which was not available for this item.
