A: Hey Lily, you can use a steam vacuum cleaner on this rug. I would suggest to make sure the rug does not get overly wet while steaming though as it will cause issues if it does not dry properly.

I have an oddly sized bedroom (8ft 10 in wide x 9ft long). I originally had a 5x8 rug from another brand but noticed it kept wrinkling on me. I needed a thicker rug and also wanted something bigger. But I coulsnt even do a 6x9 rug because of the dimensions of my room. When I saw this 8x8 rug I thought "perfect!". I didn't even know a rug this size existed or was an option. And it's just wonderful! It's a nice thick and soft texture. I put it under my bed with ease. I did order a rug pad to go underneath just in case because of the heavy furniture but I suspect you wouldn't likely need it if you didn't want to spend extra money on a rug pad. Some people in the reviews say it's not black but a deep green color. I guess that may depend on your lighting. In my room it looks more like a slightly faded black. Either way I love it and would 100% recommend, especially for the price!

Gorgeous rug!
This is the most stunning rug—much more beautiful in person. The colors are so rich and subtly multi-tonal. Incredibly soft and vacuums beautifully. I wish they had even more sizes and that they weren’t always sold out but for the quality, I’ll gladly wait to purchase other sizes!

This rug is not black
The desciption says cream/black. This rug is shades of dark green to olive. It is going to back to the store. It is very soft and well made, but the description is inaccurate.

I wish I read the reviews first... it says it's black and cream but it's an olive tone green and cream, super disappointed and it doesn't match my home well at all... if it was actually black it would have. The cream is also darker than it looked in the photo
