Rug pads are a great way to protect your floors from scratching or color transfer. They provide extra slip resistant protection and cushioning underfoot, and also extend the life of your rug by preventing pile crush and traffic wear patterns. Rug pads should be smaller than your area rug size by at least 1-2 inches on each side. This allows the rug to lay flat on the ground preventing a tripping hazard. Most area rug pads can be trimmed down to size using scissors.

A: Actually, the pattern that looks black is a deep blue and there is literally no brown or gold in the pattern! It also, despite Target's pictures, is a soft terracotta and pink! It is deeper in color than the picture would indicate. I cannot fathom why they would picture it inaccurately. Getting colors right is so important to making a room coordinate.

Q: I bought a 5X7 Opalhouse rug from Target about a year ago, the "Octavia", color is "blush teal". The pattern is identical to this Diamond pattern but I can't tell if the colors are the same? Clarify?

Q: The blue color selection looks much different when 5 x 7 (lighter, more washed out, aqua) size is selected then 7 x 10 (brighter, blue). Which color is more accurate?

The colors and pattern are gorgeous and we loved that about the rug, BUT omg the smell is terrible! We didn’t notice it at first but it got worse and we even got it professionally cleaned and that made it even WORSE! Now we have to replace it.

This is another target rug that is great for the quality. Not high enough pile to worry about pulling or shedding (my main concern as a pet owner). It feels okay underfoot but is mainly aesthetic. I had to buy sticky edges to keep it from moving around but now it’s wonderful in my front hallway!

I ordered this rug in blue a couple of years ago to replace the runner in a high-traffic area of my kitchen. I absolutely love the design and the pile, it's perfect for this area of my home. I love it so much, in fact, that I just re-ordered it after my dog had an accident on the original rug and we just couldn't get the smell out (the stain came out great though!). I think it's a stretch to call this color "blue," it's mostly peachy, but beyond that I don't have anything negative to say about this rug.

I love this style/pattern and have a 5x7 as well as a runner. Unfortunately, however, when I unrolled the one I recently purchased, the largest size, I noticed it has a couple of snags/slashes in the rug and two one inch spots that are threadbare. if not for the fact that it was the last one available in the store and I'm expecting company and already threw out the old rug, I probably would've returned it. sort of disappointed that Target doesn't have better quality control.

I have the teal rug and wanted a larger version for our living room. Unfortunately it was sold out so I went with the large 8x8 rug in blue. The color was much less rich and more washed out than the pic online. I really wish I could have gotten the large teal one instead (it looks amazing in person). Too large to return. But be forewarned.

The rug is beautiful itself but if you have kids, dogs, cats or high traffic area. Don’t get this rug! It’s impossible to clean and rid of odor. I have tried every trick in the book!

when we moved into our new apartment, we needed a big rug to tie the space together and this was the one! it had enough cool colors to tone down all the warm wood and brick and kept with our color theme. nearly one year later and it’s still going strong! it’s worn down a little bit where people sit at the couch and walk over it more often but it still looks great
