Q: does this have a rubber backing or do i need a rug pad?

A: Hi Danyelle! Thanks for reaching out! We always recommend the use of a rug pad with our products. Rug pads are a great way to protect your floors from scratching or color transfer. They provide extra slip resistant protection and cushioning underfoot, and also extend the life of your rug by preventing pile crush and traffic wear patterns. Rug pads should be smaller than your area rug size by at least 1-2 inches on each side. This allows the rug to lay flat on the ground preventing a tripping hazard. Most area rug pads can be trimmed down to size using scissors.

It also, despite Target's pictures, is a soft terracotta and pink! It is deeper in color than the picture would indicate. I cannot fathom why they would picture it inaccurately. Getting colors right is so important to making a room coordinate.

Nice design and lovely colors but the acidic smell is too strong and suspicious. The label says “Made in the US with local and import materials.” What are those imported materials? Rugs tend to have forever chemicals. Sadly, returning.

I bought the 7x10 rug for our living room two years ago and it’s held up so well. I put a quality rug pad underneath it for cushion. I have kids so it’s gotten a few food spills on it and they come out very easily with just a damp rag and some Mrs. Meyers spray, no staining at all. It’s colorful, cheers up the room, and is easy to coordinate with. I know like three other people who have this rug lol and they all agree, it’s a great purchase!

We have tried off gassing these for MONTHS and they still leave a bad taste in your mouth just from walking by it - very pretty but sadly returning these rugs

Stitching was undone as soon as I unrolled it. Online system does not have a way of contacting a person to talk about a damaged item, only returning the item. This was shipped to my house in plastic and I have no way of shipping it back or taking it back to a store.
