We used love this now it is horrible. It used to have a thicker broth and better tasting. now it is just awful the taste is gross and also very salty tasting also the broth was so runny that you could use a straw to drink it. The only way I would buy this again is if they changed it back. I am not spending money on this if the product is always going to be this horrible. I feel like I should receive some kind of compensation for the money I have spent on this. I bought like 4 cans thinking it would be good

I have always loved dinty moore beef stew but lately there seems to be less carrots. In fact the last can I had didn't have any carrots. What's up? Carrots are cheap.

For a quick lunch today I bought a can of Dinty Moore Beef stew. I used to buy this brand because it was SoSo, not the best but ok. Todays can didn't resemble the old stew other than the label. Veggies and gravy were again SoSo. The meat? Even my dog and cats turned their nose up at it. To label this mess terrible, would be a sacrilege. I have eaten around the world and would eat a Filipino Balook, unhatched egg, before eating this stew again.

I used to love this stew, but i cant take it anymore. The salt content is too high. It literally tastes like salt not stew anymore. And what happened to the meat? What is this? Its not stewed beaf anymore. I would really love for Hormel to go back to the way it was. That is the only way i can buy it again. Fix the meat and less salt, and I'll be back big time! :)

I've always loved dinti morbi still. But the last few years I've noticed that the quality of the beef has gone way down hill. It's almost like ground beef. I still taste good but the texture of the meat I don't like it

Never would I have imagined opening a can of Dinty Moore beef stew to nothing but 10 potatoes and probably 3 carrots. The best beef stew out there shocked me last night. There was near nothing but a few potatoes and beef stock! What was in this big couldn't have filled a 5 year old child. No meat! With the prices of food today, this was unacceptable

I realize I'm a few years late in complaining but I used to be able to eat the beef stew. One day, it didn't taste right and I didn't feel well. Reading the ingredients, I found it suddenly contained mushroom extract, which it had not before. I happen to be allergic. So I haven't been able to eat a product I once loved and now have to eat other brands. Thanks a lot

Taste and texture is good, nutrient list is lacking

Are the potatoes and carrots real? I assume they are and they taste real… yet the nutrient list doesn't indicate any potassium and says 0 for calcium… 1 med potato has 650 to 800 mg potassium, a carrot has over 150…. These 2 nutrients are important to know for those tracking their intake for health reasons. So unless these veggies are fake the nutrient label on the can needs to be corrected….

It's been many years since I had this stew. It is very good, a little bland right out of the can but that's a good thing That's why you have salt and pepper. Will definitely buy more, will be a staple in our pantry. Also well worth the price!

It just isn't good anymore. Used to be so good. The meat is awful. The gravy is blah. Go back to the original recipe. Would have not even given 1 star but had to.

Used to love this stew but opened a new can and found the new recipe. No beef chucks, just some "meet" crumbles. So disappointing.
