I was tired of harsh steroid creams for my condition. One day I decided to use the post shave cream on the infected areas and it worked like a champ. The redness and irritation was gone. Now I’m not saying it cures it but it keeps it under control and my face moisturized. Thank you!!

Was using this for years! Got the new packaging and thought cool it’s updated. Used the product like normal and my whole face got red splotches and started itching. Had to use cool water to get itching to stop. Used what was left of the old product and no problem! Tried the new branding and again face got red and itchy! Seriously disappointed, used shave butter and post cream for years on my head and beard!

A lot has changed with this new formula. Doesn't have the same scent as the old Dr. Carver's formula. This smells and feels like a cheap imitation.

I like this product, but the old packaging would constantly get clogged up with dried out cream. I had to keep a toothpick in my cabinet to clean it out when I used it. The new packaging works so much better with no clogging.

I really like the Post Shave Dew, but was looking for something more nourishing. First off, hate the smell. Smells just like sunscreen. Secondly, I'm not saying it's all on the cream, but I don't think it's even as nourishing as the Post Shave Dew. I have a lot of razor burn following the use of this product and I hadn't had much in a long time since using the Dew.

I honestly don’t understand the reasons for changing so many of these products that I along with other men in my family loved … This is not the same product so I won’t be buying this any longer … I checked the reviews for the hand cream and the most recent confirmed the bad news … With the new labeling comes inferior products… I was with this company from the beginning but they don’t seem to want to keep my business…

Unfortunately, like the hand cream, this product has changed for the worse along with the new packaging. This used to have a rich consistency and great fragrance, but now it's identical to store brand knock off junk. I've been happy with DSC products for the last five or six years, but it seems like things are changing for the worse over there. Within the new lame but forgivable packaging is a new lame, unforgivable product.

Have enjoyed using DSC post shave cream for years. It works great, doesn’t burn, and leaves my face soft and ready for the day. I LOVE the switch to the tube from the prior bottle. I always now measure out the right amount of face cream every time; wonderful. Like I said, I love this a face cream and the squeeze tube is a fantastic upgrade!

Ordered March 2021. Product formulation has changed for the worse. USED TO BE high quality, perfect for sensitive skin, scent wasn't overwhelming, didn't leave residue or sheen. NOW watery, poorly mixed, does not moisturize well, and leaves (visible!) small creamy white deposits on top of the skin, as though you hadn't rubbed it in at all. Clearly a cheaper product. After the razors also recently dropped in quality, I am leaving for a different company. So long, Dollar Shave Club. Shame I've been recommending you for 6+ years

It smells nice and the fragrance doesn't linger. It makes my skin feel cool and assuming the cream has a cooling effect. My face use to break out until I started using this after shaving. I would recommend this product to anyone that likes the cooling feeling after shaving and that the product absorbs right into the skin. It is not greasy by any means.

The newly formulated Post Shave Cream is an outstanding improvement over the previous version of this product. It is both refreshing and absorbs quickly into the skin. In addition, unlike the former there is no noticeable lingering fragrance. I highly recommend this item, it's one of the best post shave creams I've ever used.

It does feel good as applying it to your skin after shaving. Seems to do an alright job moisturizing. The only real issue with this product is some of its questionable ingredients. Besides water, the most prevalent ingredient is cetaryl alcohol. It also contains cetyl alcohol and benzyl alcohol. I would much rather prefer using a product without any alcohols in it.
