When I use other shampoo it doesn't help with itchiness and dry scalp. Sometimes they make it worse. However this dove shampoo is really good. It instantly gives me relief. My scalp feels refreshing, clean and relieved.

It turns out Dove's Men+Care Fortifying Shampoo was what I was looking for! I wake up early and shower, and when I first tried it the cooling sensation woke me right up! First off it lathers up really easily, and once it was on my scalp it felt icy! The smell was so inviting! My wife even commented later on that she could smell it after I left and loved it! I'm not sure that my hair feels stronger yet, but it definitely gets the morning kickstarted! I'd recommend this to my friends and family if they're looking for a great smelling shampoo that will leave your scalp feeling refreshed!

However there is no scent to it which is both a good and bad thing. I think this product is best for people with sensitivities with fragrance. Otherwise it is decent and does clean the scalp and hair.

It's been especially bad with the winter dryness but this product has definitely helped some with his dandruff. It smells and feels very refreshing, definitely has a cooling effect to it and helps remove buildup. Overall good product.

It has a gel-like texture, and it has got a great smell! Upon usage, I did notice a cooling effect very quickly on my scalp, which was very nice! However, I also noticed that while it did have a cooling effect, my scalp also ended up feeling dry and slightly itchy after using this. So, while this may help to soothe an irritated scalp in a short-term period, it seems to have exacerbated some of my scalp sensitivity issues. It may trigger dryness in others as well.

The only downside is that it will make the hair/scalp get more oily quicker but as long as you use it once a day or once every other day you should be good.

I have no idea why companies stop making these great menthol based shampoos. I used Graham Webb Ice Cap for decades until they went out of business. Then I found this shampoo and loved it. Now its no longer in production.
