I hate these bottles. They are the absolute worst bottles I have ever tried. They are uncomfortable for baby and no matter what I tried these bottles leak so horribly. I would loose ounces of milk from these bottles leaking!!!! It was so disappointing since my production was already down! Not to mention the 1 million pieces these bottles have that you have to take them all apart and clean them. And you have to buy separate brushes to clean the bottles with which they don’t tell you! Why doesn’t it just come with them? Please don’t waste your money on these. I thought I was the only one but my friend told me the same thing that all they did for her was leak. It’s beyond frustrating and I’m happy I got these for my baby shower. I wouldn’t even spend a penny on these.

Greatest bottle on the market

Our baby thrives when using this bottle. Our baby is 4 weeks old and has a gassy tummy. She literally screamed after every feeding for up to 2 hours before calming down again due to the amount of air she was taking in from her previous bottle while feeding. We started using Dr. Browns' vented bottle, and the issue went away almost immediately. We would highly recommend this bottle to anyone.

Perfect for oatmeal bottles!

My baby’s doctor had us put oatmeal in her bottles due to a medical issue starting at 8 weeks. She moved from a slow flow nipple to a Y-cut with 1tsp oatmeal per oz of formula with no problem. We wash in the dishwasher; I wouldn’t recommend using a brush. The nature of the y cut means the opening is fragile and could be ripped. We use the old, narrow-neck style Playtex VentAire bottles. Dr. Brown’s nipples work perfectly.

Dr. Brown would benefit from being friends with an engineer. This bottle design is flawed and they LEAK CONSTANTLY. For the price tag and reputation these carry, you'd think they'd have figured this one out. I solved the issue by placing a rubber gasket under the lid. Pretty silly that they don't come with these out of the box, as it's a painfully obvious and incredibly simple fix.

HORRIBLE INSTRUCTIONS

Nowhere does it say pull the nipple to get that plastic disc out - maybe it does in the instructions written in - 4 (negative four) font. You would think that would be the first thing on the box?

They are great! They ACTUALLY DONT leak. Here’s the trick, use it without the vent. With the vent, if you don’t place it in the correct position they may leak. But I’m a first time mom, I know what I’m doing and I’ve never had doctor browns bottles leak! The nipples my kid loves but He sucks so strong it deflated the nipple here and there but leaking? Lol WHERE? I’m not sure if y’all don’t put the lid on right or use the green vent but I use them without the green vent exactly as it says you can on the box of the bottles and NEVER have they ever leaked when feeding my child milk. 5 stars! :)

I bought an 8oz bottle and it leaks terribly and the lid always gets stuck on it. The 4oz ones weren't too bad. They did leak a little though.

LEAKY BOTTLES!

If I could give 0 stars I would! I don't know if I'm stuck with bad bottles or what but I have 15 bottles and 12 of them leak everywhere! I pump and feed my child and make just enough of what my baby drinks, so I can't afford to lose milk to leaky bottles. So mom's who are in a similar situation you may want to explore other bottle options so you don't lose out on the liquid gold your babies need. Being a first time mom, there are so many challenges I face in a day and leaky bottles shouldn't be one of those challenges. I have tried other bottles that don't leak but unfortunately my baby doesn't like taking the other ones, so I think i'm stuck.

Love these bottles! Like everyone else I did have issues with the bottle leaking at the beginning but that comes from the bottle not being tight enough, you need to tighten it up as tight as possible!

We have used these bottles for our baby from the very beginning and really loved them. They have begun to leak even when we follow guidelines- not shaking with vent, not warming with vent, and adjusting nipple size. So frustrated as these used to be our favorite.

We’ve been using these bottles for 3 months now and they are starting to leak everywhere!!! No matter how tight we have them on, if they are lined up correctly, if we shake them or not. Nothing helps with the leaking. I have enough laundry with him spitting up, I don’t need to add to it from a bottle leaking!
